Saw that Missouri is one of the states that will change the way free throws are done...

No more 1 and 1

After 5 fouls in a quarter will automatically go to 2 shots, and then reset the next quarter.

Don't know what states will be doing this...

Thoughts?

Every shooting or foul after the penalty should be one shot worth 2 points, or in the case of an and 1, then it should be 1 pt.

NFHS - so my understanding is all states, Illinois is going to this as well. They cited study data showed higher injury rates on rebounding situations and saw this as an opportunity to reduce opportunities for rough play during rebounds. Also, resetting the fouls each quarter will improve game flow and allow teams to adjust their play by not carrying foul totals to quarters two and four.
