slu72
Saw on Facebook a Duke ad. It was a pic of one of their stellar FR, not Okafor, saying, "Sold out crowds, great fans, playing in front of millions on TV, and going deep in the tournament. Everything I ever dreamed it would be and more is why I chose Duke." Or something to that effect. Just saying that it will be a miracle if we can somehow out recruit the likes of Duke and UK for JT's one and done year. Not being negative just being realistic. How about just ignoring it instead of being a miserable prick.

hsmith19
The last couple years have proven a deep run or even making the tournament is not a given anywhere, even Duke or UK. The miracle we should be hoping for is that Tatum, Cook, or somebody in that class decides maximizing the chances of a deep run is not their top priority. gobillsgo
How about just ignoring it instead of being a miserable prick. Yeah, he was a prick about it, but he has a point. At this stage, FBJT's reasons for and against coming to SLU have been spelled out and dissected ad nauseam. This thread really added nothing new to that discussion. hsmith19
I saw the same Facebook ad. I thought it was a pretty vivid summation of the blue bloods' sales pitch. I found it a lot more interesting than the people insistent on tilting at the "no more Tatum talk" windmill.
