Roy you are aware that Elisabeth Shue is an Ivy league Grad, (as is her former professional soccer playing playing brother(Africa) and Melrose Place television star Andrew. She'd fit perfectly into the SLU plus Ivies plus UMSL conference. She's done some stuff lately...some indies...did the De Niro movie "Hide and Seek",(predictable and average) a bigger box office take than some of the others. And of course she is largely known for her work in "Leaving Las Vegas" and the timeless "Adventures in Babysitting," and "Cocktail" which seems to be on some cable channel monthly. She's had a few good indies worth checking out.
brianstl
"Bill Simmons, typical tunnel-visioned American with a lack of resepct for International training. And no wonder the U.S. National Hoops team has fallen behind." LMAO
billiken_roy
denying, and trying to throw us off with the obscure what has she done lately, you are saying shue and levick might be the same?
billiken_roy
courtside, your love of those things about "the karate kid" brings out a new respect. kk is one of my favorite movies of all time and is one of those flicks that when channel surfing and you stumble across it, usually results in finishing the flick. my top 10 list of necessary channel surf movies would be shawshank redemption sting karate kid blues brothers caddyshack rio bravo or sons of katie elder major league m*a*s*h* (the movie) butch cassidy and the sundance kid airplane three more that would make the list but due to "ratings" material keep the real versions off the networks and thus dont hit the screen enough pulp fiction kill bill movies blazing saddles but i bet i have karate kid 100 times. i still wonder though why someone would walk into that crane kick in a competition.
