slu72
RM thanked him...anyone still think he wasn't a major player in this hire and the termination of UB. By the way, even as a avowed ABC'er, you had to feel for UB today. It was nice of RM to pay him some homage. I'm glad he's gone, but still wish he'd given us a reason to have kept him, ie bringing in solid players, getting us dancing, etc. Because I really think he would have stayed at SLU for a long time. Four Seventeen
The book on Soderberg has been closed and should of been closed a long time ago. This is a great day. I do not feel for Soderberg.
Billikan
You get a bit of a pass because you are so young but this is a heartless thing to say.
moytoy12
Billikan, metz shouldn't get a pass for either his silly statements or inane marketing suggestions. They should just be ignored.
SShoe
I am sorry for Brad because I like Brad, but he will be getting $400,000 for the next two years, if it makes you feel any better for him.
billikenman
Brad made a lot of money at this school while he was here. I've learned in my life to never feel sorry for Doctors, Pro Athletes, and other rich people. Brad can go shoot some hoops at the basketball court in his house. Coaching is like every other job, you make a ton of money and a ton is asked in return. You don't perform well, you don't have a job. He'll land a new job one of these days and until then he can live of the hundreds of thousand he got to leave.
Four Seventeen
We need to move on, guys. Let's celebrate Majerus and forget about Soderberg. He was never a fit for our D-1 program from the get-go.
provos528
What we needed was some marketing which Brad lacked. That's what Div 1 is all about right now, money and business. RM is the right guy for everything in our program..
courtside
>You get a bit of a pass because you are so young but this is >a heartless thing to say. But you don't get a pass when you fabricate as you did yesterday.
