moytoy12
...to beat Mexico (talkin' soccer here Rich)? Especially after watching their fans (presumably) throw beers at our players and their goalie attempt a very cheap slide tackle on our player after a goal. Didn't think we played incredibly well, but we had a young team and didn't look totally match fit. Liked what i saw from Bornstein and Conrad. Ricardo Clark was mostly invisible and the Donovan/Rolfe pairing was ineffective. Like i said...always great to beat Mexico!

Nice to see SLU assistant coach Mike Sorber working with the National Team, and rather fired up for Mexico. It wasn't posted ...but did make the SLU sight...but Ryan Wileman is playing United League ball with Rochester...a nice long tradition with good support there...Joe Hammes has also played United League ball as well as indoor ...combining the two in some years. Milwaukee Billiken
Joe Hammas still plays for the Milwaukee Wave. http://www.milwaukeewave.com/players/?id=24 He's from my hometown here in Wisconsin and went to my gradeschool, highschool, and SLU, but he's a few years older than me. By coincidence, I think we spent 17 years in the same schools, all told. Anyway, he's still going strong for the Wave.
Dr Bird
BIO says: "College Career: Was named Conference USA First Team All-Conference his senior year with a career-high 10 points (4G, 2A) surpassing his point total for his first three years combined...Missed the 2001 season while recovering from summer thigh surgery... Was named First Team All-Conference and Most Valuable Defender in the 2000 C-USA tournament...Named C-USA Third-Team All-Conference in 1999." Would be nice if they mentioned SLU!
