Ole Miss had a very volatile season (not unlike our Bills) with wins against various tournament teams and bad losses to teams like Mizzery. From my uneducated perspective, it seems like a good draw.

Also, some more context, Larry signed a one year 300k deal to be at Memphis. He's no doubt a great coach and, probably, business man. I imagine he'll give whatever effort he deems is worth 300k (he made around 3 mil per year at SMU).

Larry Brown probably walked into memphis and thought "this is a sh** show, but the price is right." I hope he's just cashing checks and adding to his trust.

Fact of the matter - get out and watch this team. Unfortunately I don't live in STL but have enjoyed their presence on ESPN+. Top to bottom loaded... and it would be awesome if they get some larger crowds for A10 tourney and (hopefully) beyond.

I think Travis is going to throw out some interesting combos - all big, all small, shooters, bruisers, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if Okoro + Linssen is tried out in many games.

This team is loaded. Some players are going to grow a ton. My heart goes out to JP. This dude put everything into SLU basketball and I’m gutted. I believe the Billikens are still going to win THIS YEAR, and I can’t wait even though this definitely sucks.

Let’s talk about this thread… I think administration and president are definitely doing all they can to be a part of BE, but I really like the positioning of SLU athletics regardless over the next 5-10 years. Thankful we aren’t in the AAC, and there’s a lot of opportunity for the A10 to improve as conference realignment goes nuts. Also if BE announces an addition or no addition in the next 12 months, that doesn’t mean that’s end all be all. Lots of things going to happen between now and 2025.
