You're going to drive yourself crazy trying to do comparisons between mid major and high major players.  The top major players always have better stats than the top high major players.  The only way mid major players get consideration for these kinds of awards is if they have strong performances against high major teams.  Which we haven't.

I mean he did have 19 assists against an ACC team

Pitino will take Iona to the final 4 and make his case that he is the GOAT.

Chris Mack is out.  Being finalized today.

Louisville wants Chris Beard, Bruce Pearl, Mick Cronin, Eric Musselman

Would it make sense for any of those coaches to leave?

I don't think anyone, including BBF, says the ONLY, reason is mandates. As I have stated, SLU has every right to make any policy they want. But surely you agree that their decisions in many instances are inconsistent, confusing, illogical, and often hypocritical.  For example, I refuse to show my papers and so SLU says I can not enter.  Ok, it's their decision.  They then say, however, if I show up with proof I don't have the virus, then I can enter. How does that make sense? The vaccinated can also receive and spread the virus. So with that logic, why isn't EVERYONE required to provide a clear test? Of course, there is no logic to it. So many decisions they make appear to be for disingenuous reasons as BBF and others have stated before. I could play this phony game and jump through the hoops but as a matter of principle I choose not too. Like I keep saying, they can do what they like. But as a ticket holder since the days of the old Kiel Auditorium, I think it's crap.

I mean if we're talking about logic, the science shows it is more difficult for vaccinated individuals to spread the virus than those that are unvaccinated. I don't disagree with everything you're saying and omicron is much easier to spread. There is some weight to the decision even though it isn't 100% infallible.

You’re just in denial... 25% of the population is not vaccinated, it has to hurt attendance.. can’t understand how anyone could argue otherwise...

I think they're saying both hurt. I don't think they're disagreeing with you

@hmart23because it's a free country and I can walk and chew gum at the same time. And the yearly hate here by the same certain posters is mind-boggling. It's normal to see it on the UR board, sometimes Davidson's but not the other teams'. This is the only board besides VCU's that I've posted on. Get over it.

Enjoy being angry all the time!

    Call me Negrodamus.

Great job against Dayton, a team with no real basketball skills!

By the way, VCU as a team has been shooting nearly 50% over the 7 games since Ace's return. Also, Ace was 3-4 from 3 tonight, after transfer bust Tsohonis was 5-6 from 3 on Saturday.

    Still can't shoot, though.

I'm always willing to give VCU due credit and respect how they play. No hate here. I have a genuine question though... why do you come on this board?

It does seem like his yank is quicker with TJ then others. He pulled him when he stepped on the side line early in the game. I am not a great  fan of pulling players after they make a mistake. But that’s what coaches do.

    agree with everything here.

That's your interpretation.  And it may be spot on.  My question is what pay did he receive for it?  I admit I am not an Instagram user or aficionado.  If I go to Top Golf (a discussion in another thread) and I note that I like it or follow it, I don't get a stipend.  Do you?  Maybe kids that post such on Instagram do.  I just don't know.  But since NIL is such a new and big proposition to get kids money, I'm just asking.  I see where you don't know, you are not his agent.  Fair enough.  Maybe someone else on here can answer the question.  But let's remember .... you said he had an NIL deal.  Nobody short of us MBMs know who Markhi Strickland is.

You are the podcast guru.  I was thinking you had more connections and knew more.

It literally says he's an ambassador for the company in the post.
