  1. Thank you for providing the appropriate perspective, people are overlooking this.
  2. Someone should go in and take more pictures to confirm.
  3. I think their coach doesn't know the meaning of shorthanded. He should have taken a look at our bench.
  4. Go out in style. Get the school record and have all the girls fawn over you because of the surgery at the same time. Oh to be in high school again
  5. I'm sure that was a tough decision, but I'm glad he's taking care of it now. I guess he can't access the SLU training staff until he enrolls this summer?
  6. Thanks for the update Nathan. I'm sure Pistol will update his post once he reads this.
  7. Once he's signed, there will be nightly quad streakings from older fat white men.
  8. I think that if Moore and Bishop leave, it will be because they decided to seek playing time somewhere else. They practice with the transfers every day, so they see what's coming in. It's up to them to decide if they're ok with their reduced roles. Gillmann and Nuefeld will be pushed out if they transfer. Maybe they'll post a Jollyesque dance video before deciding to transfer, it'd be fitting.
  9. They also practiced there in the early 90's. They were in town for an exhibition game.
  10. If they wait until next year, they can avoid staining the new mascot with any remaining crewsplatter.
  11. They've played good defense at times, they just haven't put together a full game of good defense. Hopefully they can get to that point before the end of the season.
  12. More importantly, does this mean he is happy? edit: Or is he happy that Tilmon has made a decision and that he (he being Tilmon) is happy with that decision.
  13. Anyone know if there will be a streaming feed of the game?
  14. I don't think he had surgery on his plantar fascia, it was on the injury he caused by compensating for his plantar fasciitis. I tore my plantar fascia in my left foot about 7 years ago, so i'm intimately familiar with this injury. I was in a boot for 6 weeks after the injury with therapy 3 days a week. The first day out of my boot, i was walking to my office and tore all the scar tissue that was supposed to provide an arch for my foot. It hasn't been right since then. If he just has plantar fasciitis, surgery will not help. The only true cure is to take time off and let it heal ( a month or two over the summer isn't enough). If he has actually torn his plantar fascia, then surgery could help. The recovery is long and painful, with no guarantee of success. Inserts can help with the pain, i'm sure he's seen a podiatrist and had inserts made. That's usually step 1 in the process. Even with inserts, one bang of the heel on the floor, or too much pressure on your toes when jumping, running, or even walking can cause it to flair up again.,
  15. Looks like we have another grand champion of the worlds finest game on the board. http://www.kongregate.com/games/webcypher/the-douchebag-life
  16. Optimism is great, but we're really playing with a team of 9 freshmen at this point. If they're just as bad next year, then it's time to question Crews on not only his recruiting but also his ability to coach. I personally think that letting the team play it out helps them grow much more than coddling them through the season. Maybe we eek out a few more wins this year if Crews is micro managing things, but that does't change the fact that the season is a wash. Letting them see first hand how their actions are responsible for their losses is a much more effective method of teaching in my eyes.
  17. Sorry, I wasn't posting back then but i do remember reading the thread....I believe it was before anyone had actually seen the incoming freshmen play a single minute of college ball correct? If your rage is because you and many others incorrectly assumed that a bunch of 3 star freshmen would continue the streak of making the tournament, that makes it their fault? No one in their right mind thought that Manning would lead the team, the loss of Glaze hurts their rebounding and overall attitude of the team, McBroom wins at instagram and Ash had a year off. What did you see from last years freshmen that made you think they'd be world beaters after all the playing time they garnered?
  18. I think it's a bit harsh to say these guys suck. None of the freshman came in heralded as 5 star can't miss nba prospects. This is really the type of season most people expected. Flashes of brilliance sprinkled over mediocre to sometimes decent play. Now if there's no progression from this year to next year, then it's time to re-evaluate. These guys are getting worn down, it's near the end of the season and they're playing against other people that have had 2 or 3 years of being in a college weight training program and are used to playing physical ball.
  19. They just called crawford the big guy for some reason. At least Sibert has his 4th foul now. It's time to take close this game out.
  20. He can't rebound, but he's apparently Moses when he drives to the basket.
  21. Love it, Jolly slaps the dude in the face after blocking his shot and draws a tech on him.
  22. For those of you that can't watch........21 Dayton 27 SLU with 17:00 minutes left.
  23. They need to continue to drive on Siefert, get him his 4th foul and the game is over.
