  1. Last season's PAC12 Final RPI. I would venture to say any top 100 finishers could be considered High Profile. It just depends on your point of view. AZ 2 OR 9 UCLA 16 USC 41 Cal 53 Utah 83 CO 99 Stanford 100
  2. http://hoopshype.com/2017/07/03/free-agent-willie-reed-my-goal-for-next-season-is-to-win-the-most-improved-player-award/ Willie is after NBA Most Improved Award. (Please Glory (aka TRav), take your b*tch slapping somewhere else.)
  3. This article has some unique stats on Reed. https://www.indycornrows.com/2017/7/2/15910398/report-pacers-have-expressed-interest-in-free-agent-center-willie-reed
  4. Why? What have you seen in Watson that Thatch cannot do. Conversely, what are Thatch's attributes that Watson is weak in? I haven't seen either, so I don't know. I don't buy into Highlight Videos, as those are highly edited. Frankly I think you could learn more from a Lowlight Video. The coaching staff is very, very pleased to have Thatch coming to SLU. They will take Watson, and also be very, very happy, but they are good with Thatch being on-board.
  5. But, but what are his AAU stats. That is all that matters according to Glory.
  6. Just pulled up the Top 144 website. Our potential opponent Washington U comes in at #136. Here is what they say about #142 Illinois State transfer Yarbrough. Who’s In: Milik Yarbrough might be the most impactful addition of the six new players entering the Illinois State program. Yarbrough is a former All A-10 Freshman team member from his time with Saint Louis and shares a resemblance to MiKyle McIntosh both in terms of size and style of play. At 6-6 and 230 pounds, he will be able to play both forward positions, but he will most likely see a majority of his minutes at power forward. The redshirt junior can use his size and strength to score in the post, but also can play on the perimeter. After being a key piece for Saint Louis as a freshman, Yarbrough saw his minutes and production decrease in his sophomore season. He averaged 10.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 23.7 minutes per game as a freshman and dipped to 7.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 19.3 minutes per game as a sophomore. He did, however, increase his three point percentage significantly from 20% to 35.7 percent despite increasing his attempts. Yarbrough looks poised to crack the starting lineup and will provide ISU with an experienced versatile scorer which they desperately need after Hawkins and McIntosh’s departures.
  7. Ooookay. I think a half court heave needs to be 5 points. Underhand free throws need to be 1.5 points.
  8. LOL. Mine came with an order of fries.
  9. It has been posted six or seven times. No need to repeat what we all, except you, know.
  10. You need to tell Coach Ford this because he has gone on record with a different opinion. But I'm sure he will reconsider based on your opinion
  11. Glory, these are the kind of stupid comments that get you in trouble. As brianstl suggests, your comment shows your obvious lack of knowledge of basic Billiken facts, such as who is on the roster. Graves has played in 11 collegiate games!. He has scored 53 points. Goodwin has yet to suit up for a collegiate game. AD has scored 585 points and Roby has scored 782. You start your list with those two and add Goodwin as a highly likely heavy minutes and a Graves as a TBD. Graves will have to outplay Bishop first. Not a given. Both AD and Roby have more points than Graves has minutes.
  12. Very true on the injury issue. Bess, Bishop, Foreman, Goodwin and Welmer all have had serious issues with various body parts. Roby has played with a bad thumb and then wrist the past two seasons. It would not be surprising if one or more had a relapse. Never count any player out of the rotation.
  13. Here is a question for you. If Tatum plays one year at SLU, does he still go #3? I say yes. Scouts look at talent not team record.
  14. Do read your posts before you send them? So Gordon is going to take away major minutes from THREE players. Really? Games are 40 minutes. You need 200 minutes from your team to complete a game. Yes this is basic, but you seem to not know what you are talking about. If in your crazy world Gordon averaged 40 minutes a game, that still leaves (can you do the math?) 160 minutes. That's enough for five to seven players. Where is Glory Days when we need him to explain this to you?
  15. You said all three would transfer because of Gordon. Read your post GloryDays. You were attacked for saying something really ignorant.
  16. There is a growing trend for transfers to go a third school as a GT. I think we played against two in the A10 and if I remember maybe it was Oregon in the Final Four with one also. So never say never. You get your degree in 4 and you want your final season to be memorable.
  17. Congrats to Mr. Tatum now a Boston Celtic. So who will be the next STL area NBA player?
  18. All of these recruits need to bring a copy of their AAU stats plus a printout of their rankings on various sites so that Glory Days is satisfied that they can be Billikens.
  19. GloryDays why you banging Thatch? The kid is solid. He will be a huge asset for the Billikens. What did the coaches say when you asked them about Thatch?
  20. There are some MBM's (read this as glory days) that think all you have to do is go get the ESPN or Scout or 247 recruiting lists, and then pick off the players you want to offer from the lists. No need to go see the kids play. Why bother getting to know the family and the player f they aren't on one of these lists, right?
  21. The staff is very, very pleased to be adding Thatch to the Billikens family. If you don't believe me talk to one of the coaches. They will set you straight.
  22. Many are getting too caught up in positions. If you look at our roster, we will have five to six players in 2018 that could be considered as a PFs (Bess, Foreman, French, Gordon, Santos, and Welmer.) So what. Right now we have Thatch in hand and still working on Watson, both theoretically play the same position. When is the last time we had a true classical center that contributed? Manning? You don't build a roster trying to fit in 13 players into the 5 classical slots. Get them signed and let Coach figure it out later.
