  1. Diarra off the bench to tip in the game winner, a missed dunk by Hargrove. Everyone else has fouled out.
  2. Five A10 games today. We are the only dog. LaSalle -12.5 home v Morgan State Duquesne (N) v Radford -4.5 (This game is being played at a High School gym in Akron. Yikes.) Charleston at Richmond -8.5 Gannon (DII) at St. Bonnie, no one cares.
  3. Yes, but according to an ordinance passed just yesterday by the Board of Aldermen, in STL city you cannot declaw your cats anymore.
  4. The reason that sports pundits, such as Derrick Goold have stated, is that Simmons was constantly being compared to his main same-generation competition, Johnny Bench, and coming up short in that one on one comparison. If he had played at a different, non-Bench era, perhaps he would have already been in the Hall.
  5. Yeah. He played for SLFC this past season.
  6. Georgetown had a goalie from Webster Groves maybe 6 years ago. Would have been a good time to schedule them.
  7. Some will say “coach speak”. I say, pretty cool!
  8. Checked and Yadi’s matches up with baseball-reference. The list was from Wik.

  10. Listen to the Coach sometime. Bell will be on the floor as long as his positive contributions outweigh his negatives. Coach defines positives and negatives based on the resume of each player. The staff watches much more than the box score. You should too.
  11. San Diego State has some nice wins, against BYU there, and Creighton and Iowa in Vegas. They are good. As I posted on another thread, they are our A10-MWC Challenge opponent next season, here. Already looking forward to that game. The MWC will be a multi-bid conference this season.
  12. Man, what more could we ask for. He will fit in well with TeamBlue.
  13. We played Rockhurst, DII, second game of the 17/18 season, winning by 24.
  14. Okay, so Holt gym was one of the locations he was at last night, per Tuesday with Travis. They played FZN out in Wentzville. @Pistol, targets? K. Lee Jr?
  15. Dec 10 edition of Tuesday's with Travis https://www.scoopswithdannymac.com/billikens-basketball-update-with-travis-ford-december-10-2019/ Not a lot of new information on last weeks game, if you listened to his Tulane post game interview and/or read the PD article on the game. Interesting, when Danny Mac asked if when recruiting they say "you can be as good as XYZ.." Coach said of course, and they usually pick an NBA player. They used JJ Reddick as a player Jimerson could be like. For Hasahn French, Keneth Faried and Draymont Green are two they ask Hashan to look at and model what he does. As he stated Sunday, it's finals week, plus the players are catching up on classwork they may have missed. Coaches are doing a lot of local recruiting. Ford is going to a couple of local games tonight. (He again said this is the first time in his career he can catch multiple games in one night, due to the talent in STL.) He said they get great local crowds here, saying there are very few places in the country that supports HS ball as they do here. They aren't getting a lot done on the court this week. Practice schedules are fluid. His Mom and Dad try to make every home game. They are 2.5 hours away. Auburn "It doesn't get any tougher". Ranked 12th in AP poll and higher in the RPI. Not many weaknesses. They might be better than last year. They out rebound their opponent by 10 per game. We are a +8. They have four or five future NBA players according to Ford. Nothing said on Thatch or Hankton. Twelve minute interview.
  16. It's called a transition phrase. You are still losing me... ? I guess it really doesn't matter. I gave you a Good Post reaction. Are you okay with that?
  17. and ? Should I not have agreed with you?
  18. Agree 100%, but that call went out about the time "palming the ball" went out.
  19. They put together Team Sheets last year during Conference Season. It's a nice site.
  20. https://www.a10talk.com/richmonds-tomas-verbinskis-enters-ncaa-transfer-portal-via-noahgoldberg10/ Ah, the Atlantic 10 Transfer Portal is open. Let the fun begin.
  21. http://warrennolan.com/basketball/2020/conferences You have to do some clicking, but these guys figured out the formula last season. Going through Conference Tab seems to be the easiest.
  22. Thanks Michael C. Yes, the NCAA put together a new system last year. If you recall, in the interview at the end of the Bracket Show, the Commish included Quad 1 and 2 wins in the discussion. Today the Belmont win is a Quad 2 win. BC is a Quad 3 win. But those likely may flip as the Conference seasons unfold. Today, the Seton Hall loss is a Quad 2 loss, but that likely will move to a Quad 1 loss (as if it matters) once Hall's conference season starts and their numbers go up.
  23. I agree. There is no reason to sell Duquesne short this season. They are 8-0, the first time since 1976. Sincere Carry continues to show last season was not a fluke. They have two decent big men in Hughes and Steele, a budding star in freshman Austin and quality depth in Norman, Weathers and Dunn-Martin. They do have a Quad 2 win, the same number of Q2 wins that we have.
  24. Yeah, it was Ford’s comments that your positives need to double your negatives. In the Tulane game Jacobs had a turnover followed immediately by a ‘and one’ foul. Two negatives equaled a quick hook. But that seemed to wake Jacobs up for the rest of the game.
