I am Social Distancing and really bored. It got me thinking - it seems like Travis Ford is mostly loved by the Billiken Faithful and hated by OK State fans who think of him as an underachieving, overpaid, bad coach. What other coaches have been fired/hated and moved on to another school and turned it around? Maybe it is a dumb topic but there are no sports on TV so cut me some slack.

I love Goodwin and French but I am excited about how this team looks after they are gone too. It is going to be a completely different style of basketball I think. I think Ford's teams will always be "bigger and tougher" than the rest of the A10 but I do think we have the ability to add more skilled shooters/playmakers in the future.

With recruiting locked down for a month I'm guessing it will be a while before we hear anything.

For sure. I remember that period well. Was so excited to escape from the hell of Jim Crews. I'm afraid to go look at how brutal I was to Coach Ford. Oh well, I guess. We are one big happy family now.

Just some random thoughts: Sure I expressed frustration in the moment during some GDTs but this season was so fun This season exceeded my highest expectations for the year. I am over the moon on how this team progressed Travis Ford had some really bad individual in game coaching decisions, but on the whole I give him an A for coaching this season I hope Ford gets an extension again This freshman class will be remembered as one of the best ever Perkins will be first team all conference next year I think we will have a significant recruiting win for the 2021 class I am oddly very much at ease with the abrupt end to the a season. I am totally fine with it.
