I'm just skeptical we will get any sort of huge buyout. Maybe contractually we should but not sure it'll happen.

What is Travis Ford thinking right now?
-
Still don't think Schertz is going to Louisville. Just doesn't feel like the right fit for either side.
-
Well we need the big guns to step up and at least make him an offer that competes with Louisville. Sure it's still a better job but don't let money be the reason.

Trilly Donovan — Today at 12:08 PM Louisville reportedly offering Schertz $3.5M. Contract at SLU reportedly at or just above $2M/6 years. Trilly Donovan — Today at 11:31 AM Schertz signed with SLU which makes it very difficult for him to get out of this. Whether he wants to or is trying to is up in the air. I believe Louisville lawyers are trying to find a way for him to get out of it.

Hopefully Schertz doesn't want it. Or hopefully this guy is full of shi.t.

Sounds like Ahearn is the guy. 23 year contract, $7.2M per year. $1M per year NIL and $2M per year to DeSmet endowment. This per my group chat and people I go to away games with and 7 figure boosters.

Louisville is finding out they aren't the job they think they are

Cuonzo to Mo St

Not only that but "hey sorry I just told the media that the guy you wanted was receiving threating messages from your fans making them look bad but any chance you can hire me?"
-
My group chat just informed me that SLU is planning on hiring a coach for next season! But the people I fly to away games with told me that SLU isn't sure yet who it will be! That being said, some connections I have within the athletic department have told me they do have a single candidate. On the other hand, some very wealthy boosters I know told me they're still checking in on multiple candidates! The future is a blue/green sun/sky for the Billikens despite the hazy outlook from the Sycamores season continuing!

It's a blue/green sun/sky outlook for SLU basketball

As for assistants, give me an east coast guy, someone from his current staff, and whoever else he likes for the 3rd spot.

Schertz is locked and loaded. Enjoy ISU's run. It's always fine to have some concern because a coach can always back out at any moment but he will be patrolling the sidelines at Chaifetz in November. Trilly says there is no flight risk when it comes to Schertz.

Both have memorable walks to that body of water

You aren't allowed in

My group text said some very interesting stuff today

It's most likely just giving students a heads up who could be headed home early for Easter

My biggest concern is May and the big guns panic

President Fred Pestello to Retire in June 2025
slufan13 replied to SluSignGuy's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
Pestello was a great change up from Biondi. Both did well enough. -
Feels like ISU is never out of it. This past year it felt like we were out of it if it was 4-2
-
ISU turns a game around quick
-
I'm not taking much from this game. ISU has some really really good players. Schertz needs to bring in some dogs though. For as good as ISU is they seem a little weak

Grizzlies @ Warriors tonight. Big game for Ahearn
