  1. and because Ross Varner (FTW) pwned him during practice. Heck, I'd leave too if the nicest guy in America (Varner) took me off the dribble continuously wiped the West Pine floor with me. Cameron Dollar loved Varner.
  2. I love how bad Oregon State is this year. Wonder why the bro-in-law was at the Georgetown-Duke game, Craig Robinson?
  3. First season of "Seinfeld" reference?!? Nice! +3
  4. -2 I only have one screen name (adramos77). Thanks, and Go Billikens.
  5. I love Brian Kenny and his pursuit to be the next Charlie Steiner. When it comes to ESPN's "coverage" of boxing, no one did it better than Steiner. "Steiner...come out and getcha whooping...Steiner." -Evander Holyfield
  6. Um, hello, it's the Blue Crew.
  7. I wasn't sure what angle you were coming from. Mississippi State is less expensive than SLU, I understand that, but maybe that kid comes from a well-to-do family. I wasn't sure. I wasn't trying to insinuate anything, contrary to what people think.
  8. if anyone is in need of a good late-afternoon laugh! haha these "dunks" are great! I love Iverson's reaction!
  9. So you're taking into consideration that we're not a state school that provides in-state tuition or are you saying basketball players come from lower-income families?
  10. Is that a fact, brianstl?? I was unaware of that...
  11. Jarvis Varnado of Mississippi State is his team’s best player, but is technically a walk-on after he gave up his scholarship because the team had more players who were promised scholarships than there were scholarships available. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/bl...rn=ncaab,183885 With all this talk of Loe not coming here because we don't have "room at the Inn" for him, is there someone on our team who would be our Jarvis Varnado? Anyone? Bueller?
  12. Richard Chaifetz: Probably the most animated person in the building was Dr. Chaifetz, the namesake of our home. He sat at midcourt and cheered wildly throughout the game. He was on the referees while cheering with all of his heart. When Kwamain flew out of bounds for a loose ball. He was the first to help him up. When Kwamain hit that 3-pointer to put the game into overtime, Dr. Chaifetz was on the court going crazy. Our "Just for Men" fans who make up probably 85% of ticket sales need to follow the example of Dr. Chaifetz and not Fr. Biondi. Get up and cheer for your Billikens. We should have put shock things under the chairs at the suggestion of Dr. Chaifetz's good pal, Dr. Moreau.
  13. Yes, in accordance with the Rooney Rule.
  14. Do you even think he still posts on here? Rumor has it he will be in town for the game. I've never met the kid.
  15. According to Rican, one of our resident trolls will be there.
  16. "Let 'em go." -Mike Sherman, Head Football Coach, Texas A&M University
  17. And we already can predict one of those freshmen (McCall) will be an absolute stud.
  18. ahhh “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” -C.S. Lewis I'd love to see it happen, thicks...would absolutely love it. Never count this team out (unless we play in the state of Virginia or the District of Columbia).
  19. Toss in a few wins against quality opponents and you're probably right.
