thanks go bills for helping us out of towners. Im watching from Spain, so this is the only way I can catch the games. Hopefully next time I can get the VLC stream to work on my new computer

yeah really weird....i go to vlc, open network, paste the link and it has the error saying VLC cannot open the MRL.....click the log for details. Too bad.

still no luck after reinstall...

Sorry if this has been asked before, but when you say that you are going to stream the game yourself, what exactly does that mean? How do I watch your stream? These media threads really help me catch almost all the games. Thanks for the help!

We are on the home page of the men's basketball section on cbssports.com. Their latest bracketology has us in as an 11 seed....still a lot of games left, but still nice to see...

channel 643 on directv....however i believe its on a tape delay...it shows it coming on at 8 pm eastern

Did a little bit of research and here is what I found....for the fellow out of towners: Channel 643 on directv has tonight's game showing at 8 p.m eastern time. I thought tipoff was at 7 p.m eastern, so I'm a bit confused. I guess I'll tune in at 7 and see whats going on. Hopefully the game is on!!

FSN Cincinnati has the game live. Its channel 661 on directv and comes with the sports pack. If the sports bars get FSN Midwest, they most likely get FSN Cincinnati.

According to Rhody's website the game will be on COX sports net. I guess anybody out there with COX cable is in luck. I have not seen anything for Directv customers.

I'm gonna be pretty upset if this Villanova/Providence game runs over and cuts into our game.

ESPNU on directv is not an HD channel. I called them up yesterday asking why I don't get it and they said they are working on getting ESPNU as an HD channel in the next couple of months. It really bugs me because other cable companies offer it in HD. so no joy on HD for those of us with Directv.

Too bad for us with Directv....Comcast Sports South is not offered on the Sports pack....

just checked the Directv listings...it shows an NBA game on channel 642 during the SLU game. I went to CSN south website, and it has our game listed. However, I don't see CSN south as a channel for Directv.
