  1. A transfer after one semester, and you were expecting positivity from a team message board?
  2. Silver lining. Our last coach came after being bounced out of a school in Oklahoma. Maybe our next coach will be too in 7 years...
  3. If that is the case, then we are morons. He was easily the best player to choose from. We will see what kind of geniuses we having making calls here.
  4. I get that Rashad Williams can score. I would rather have Mckissic. That seems like a no brained to me, but who knows what will happen.
  5. I am going to go with Brad Stevens, who just turned down Indiana. Calipari? Anyone would jump on this one. This would be funny: Mick Cronin.
  6. Judges sometimes do that so that they can stress test the side they are going to write for. It also helps prevent arguments of bias. You can never really tell what will happen.
  7. To this point, Ford has (nearly) equaled Rick Majerus in accomplishments. I personally only count making the tournament, anything more is mostly luck. He also started from a much worse position. Anyone who complains today is irrational. We will see where we go.
  8. Mckissic is a great defender, and averaged over 50% from the field, 42% from 3. I think he would start. I have seen some of the other numbers from potential players, and I do not think anyone else is close. Correct me if I am wrong.
  9. This is not good. We need Mckissic. We needs bags of Bitcoin thrown at Mckissic immediately.
  10. When he went on that final 4 run, I read an article which made it sound like TTU was near his home area, or at least, he fits the West TX lifestyle. From reading it, I would be surprised if he ever leaves.
  11. Ramey is a good player. I assumed he was not looking at SLU because he wanted the big time. Mizzou was his safety school. I also remember reading that he wanted to avoid C. Gordon as a teammate, which seems a lot more reasonable in retrospect. Maybe now we are more of a fit as a safety school. That said, Collins is our point guard.
  12. Well, it is official, the A10 underwhelmed across the board this year.
  13. I was surprised he went into coaching. He was the leading scorer of a team, but constantly seemed like he was at odds with his coach. Seemed like a difficult person to coach. Who knows beyond that, but just not the calm, cerebral basketball mind who excels later as a coach. He had personality, so I bet he can recruit, we will see about the rest.
  14. Sure, I mean if the coach forces his players to stand on the baseline and just scream at the offense, it would be a detriment.
  15. We really need to let go of the Jim Crews hate. He was a really (or at least pretty) good coach at one time. He ran out of gas. He should have retired, and thought about retiring, then tried to keep going with us, but just didn’t have it. We have every right to be mad. But time heals all wounds. He coached some of the best teams in Bills history. He at least didn’t screw that run up, and others might have. It honestly takes wisdom to know when not to tweak with a good team. Travis Ford has turned the corner. It is time to start remembering the good things from Crews.
  16. “She”? You should choose your words more carefully. Now we can all surmise that Porter Moser was driven away by Situation I. Du duh duhhhh!!!
  17. Fourth season. It is right in that image. That said, you make a great point, outside of two seasons his record has been average. Like .600 in a good year. It is hard to believe, considering he just ran circles around Underwood.
  18. You haven’t figured out who the Wiz really is?
  19. I see where it is heading. The 2022 final four. Honestly, you don’t know where it is heading. Early in the season we played great basketball with a style different then anything Ford has done at SLU. Covid pause. Then, nothing really worked. Tried to go back to his regular style, with more Bell and Linssen inside, and we were pretty good, but not good enough. Just a weird year. If I have one nit with Ford this season, it is that we switched to his original style in the last 1/6 of the season. There isn’t really an explanation, other than an injury to Jacobs, and a decline in Jimerson’s play. It seemed like a good move, but also a tough move to make. We had to replace the 16-18 points they were scoring, and we didn’t. I am sure there was a logic to it all, but we don’t really see all if the information.
  20. I don’t understand this season. Just gonna have to let this one go.
  21. Just gonna drop this link here, Liddell was attacked by OSU fans on Twitter: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/31097748/ohio-state-ej-liddell-responds-disgruntled-fans-ncaa-tournament-loss And, in case anyone was wondering, no one does this to a hometown hero.
  22. Just to take this back to the MVC discussion without citing anyone, this is the first year, in the last 10+, where the MVC and A10 have the same number if bids. In the past, arguments that we should move to the MVC were pretty harshly rejected. That said, if the A10 and MVC have the same number of bids moving forward, then the A10 is just not a smart conference for basketball bids. The A10 is a better conference. More academically talented schools, and better basketball, more Jesuit schools also. But also more competition for 2 bids. I grew up an MVC fan, so I am entirely biased.
