Not that he wanted to come here anyway, but I don’t think we were ever that interested in McKinney. Seems like we passed on Pickett as well. Also definitely weren’t interested in Mark Smith, from everything we have heard.

Watson is the only one going there (to this point) I’d really like to have. Tilmon is no big loss. We have four comparable or better forwards.

This could be a bit premature but eff it. I’m ALL GAS NO BRAKES about this team under Ford. Ford will turn us into one of the premier teams in the Midwest before it’s said and done. We’ve got the facilities. We’ve got the money. We’ve got the coach (finally) and we’ve got the talent.

Pumped about the Beagles pipeline we seem to have going. We may not get the Beal/Tatum/Liddell types, but the next tier of players has provided us with some great players. Now on to Love and Kasubke.

It’s hard to predict how much playing time will be available for our bigs, but I will say that we, as a group of MBMs, have been seriously underrating Luis Santos. Which is understandable considering we haven’t seen him play. But from what I’ve seen, he seems to have extended his shot out to the 3 pt line, and is still a beast in the paint. I think he gets 20 at least once.
