No way do we end 10-8 in the conference..the eye test based on the quality of the A-10 and our inability to get better as you suggest does not support your theory. Love your stats Wiz but these are stats based on wins against very weak teams.

The team regressed every game of that steak and by the A10 tourney were a weak imitation of the team that darted the year

It is interesting to see how all the crews apologists from the past years are not to be found except MB 73 who is always drinking the kool-aid. Many on this board saw this was going to happen in year 1 of the transition but we were too quick to judge,majerus left him nothing ..blah blah blah. The facts were always there ..the best team we have had in many years regressed every game it played under Crews and anyone who knows basketball can see the lack of coaching and improvement. Majerus would be appalled at the coaching being done and the talent that we have is not getting better. Once again we had 2 bigs on the floor at the same time against a much quicker team..how is that decision made!?

Crews approach to the offense is a joke . When you play good defensive teams you can't run no offensive sets without this kind of result

I have been at all the games here in brooklyn and wish the crews apologists were here to see all the league in person..there is a big void as to how we look as compared to the talent and coaching involvement and as Roy stated BIG changes need to made as we tend to forget as West Coast Billiken so aptly put..WE ARE DEAD LAST in the conference. After a quick look at the top 8 players of each team over 80 % of the talent on the other teams is returning making it more difficult to climb in the standings .Along with one has to assume the other schools will also make some changes while improving at the same time as we are ...it will be an interesting year to say the least. While a devoted fan I am also in the Taj 79 camp ...is it worth the wait as the outcome unfortunately is not promising when you truly get off the blinders and do the "eye test" of where we truly are . One final note...I am really tired of the Freshman excuse as many key players here are freshman and are making major contributions while our freshman did not improve as the year went on ..coaching or talent ?

Crews still using and starting Manning is a mystery...any casual fan can see he not only lacks the talent he has no passion and seems disinterested to even be on the court..running back and forth for 94 feet does not make you a player

Manning should not be on the floor EVER..That is why many of us question the handle the coaching staff has on this team and its evaluation of who should play--at the 10 minute mark of the first half 12 players had spent time on the court and there is no explanation for that no matter how much you are a Crews apologist--the team is losing what little identity it had. Put yourself in Reggie or Miliks shoes watching Tanner get minutes for no apparent reason while seeing Manning do absolutely nothing and be rewarded also. I do not know the facts of all teams but I would bet that there is no team in America using all 12 players while the game is still undecided.

Agreed ..it drives me crazy too along with everyone seated around me who have to listen to me complain every time we do it...numerous times we have thrown it all the way into the backcourt this season with the shot clock at 15 seconds or less and dribble back with not enough time to get a good shot off ..makes no sense to me why we do it either.

Dayton's starters played most of the game ...we used 12 players that were in and out like a hockey game ..unbelievably bad coaching
