I had to run to the library to get internet to listen to the game on the Radio. THANK GOD that the Wireless internet is working. If not, I would be going nuts (or to ESPN Sportszone by myself (mid term week). Oh me goodness, SLU win this baby! Steve

I will find out about Cincy probably tomorrow. I have a Mid-term the Wednesday of the Tournament. I hope to hitch a ride with Taj from DC. I am going to ask my professor tomorrow if I can take the test early (if so, then I will work everything out with Taj). If the Billikens pull off a bye, I will almost definitely be there, depending on when Taj leaves. We'll see how this goes. Steve

I hope that I do not sound hypocritical, but here it goes. I would personally like for any talk of whatever may or may not have happened on C-USATalk involving bigotry, anti-semitism, or what not to not take place on this board. My knowledge of this situation is limited at best. So if I am wrong somewhere, my apologies. I know I bring politics onto this board more than probably anyone else, but the politics I bring are not personal accusations against board members. I don't care what happened on other boards, and I know that this topic has been floating on this board for a few days. But I would like to see it end now. If I see any further accusations against personal posters of this nature, I may start deleting them, and it doesn't matter who posts the messages. You guys know I hate censureship. But this place is not the place for this sort of discussion. It is not what people visit the board for. SLU was in Mizzou's shows almost exactly a year ago. Our SOS was amazing in Febuary last year, but we only had 14-16 wins. The SOS is 75% of your RPI, and RPI is king. SLU's SOS is in the 60's I think, while Mizzou's is in the teens. The only reason we were on the bubble last year (before the conference tournaments which destroyed us), is because of our SOS. Brad I bet is REALLY regretting those gimmie games...Who knows what our SOS would be. Steve

I for one would like to have the nation see that the Billikens could legitimately defeat last years Final Four team. But if the game is not on the Duece. I am going to GW vs. Dayton, but I would have stayed home in a heartbeat to watch the Bills play. :shrug: It happens... Steve

hehe, I know GW's odds are slim but here is a little Defense... Their RPI is in the 70s, but they still have some big games coming up with Dayton and Richmond coming to the Smith Center (our "arena"). We are undefeated at home, and we gave Xavier a bit of a spanking. And we still get to go to Xavier. We could very feasibly win the A-10 West if we beat Dayton, because Dayton still has to go to Xavier after us. We admitedly have a few bad losses, but we could easily get 18-20 wins. The A-10 tourney is going to be huge. If GW gets to play St. Joes, I am liking it (Upset Baby!!!). We are teams that are both guard heavy, so we match up well (they admitedly beat us at their place, but we absolutely suck on the road). So hopefully we avoid Dayton in the A-10 tourney. We should get in the NIT, but the NCAA's are a bit of a dream, but that dream is not vanished yet. Steve

Edwards would be an excellent candidate. I would have no real problem supporting him. I like Kerry's Vietnam service and overall experience. Also I like his Stances on Gay Rights more than Edwards'. Kerry was the candidate I picked from the beginning (which was sometime late 02, to early 03 I think). I personally think War Experience is greater than the self made man in the first post 9/11 election. Election season is here... Let the fun begin... Steve
