I'm not entirely positive on numbers, but I believe that Fordham (soccer) and UMass (ditto) were both ranked during the last season; both were hot out of the gate. URI has made the tournament in each of the last two years via the conference tourney in the same sport. I'm not sure about the valley, and I don't remember our results against MoSt. over the last few years...They did have a pretty good team, though.

I remember flying out of Lambert (I think it was Labor Day '05) and running into the Duke soccer team that had played here the night before. It just so happened that they were flying like plebs, too. I understand debate over where the money is going, but to conjecture that we're the ONLY school that flies with the commonors and has problems because of it is just too much. We probably traveled the same way last year, and did better in te beginning of the conference season, winning every-other game last year for a while.

I think you're right, Rich...and Ian had the same surgery as KL, I believe. ACL's can be ugly animals...you can come back with no problem at all, or have issues like Obi or Daunte Culpepper. How many fantasy football players heard speculation that Carson Palmer was underpreforming because of lingering timidity over his knee.
