Dislocated shoulders don't heal, they just get worse. Every time that shoulder pops out causes the joint to get looser and more prone to dislocate again. He needs to have the surgery and repair the damage. Normal recovery time is 3-4 months.

Good point about the turnovers, but the encouraging part is, I only think we only had 5 of our 17 to's in the second half. Hopefully we will be better prepared for them in the future.

I think Frank Haith will be gone in 4 years. He may be a good recruiter, but has to be one of the worst coaches in college basketball. I have watched 5 or 6 games this year, and can still not tell you what kind of offense he runs. The team has no discipline and no purpose. I predict no better than a 500 record in the SEC, Nit team at best....

You are correct, it's all about the money. The SG coaches don't want to give up 3 months of revenue while the player participates in HS soccer. Taking off 3 months is not the detriment to development that they try to tell their players. In fact many players prosper from playing HS soccer, as they are asked to take on a different role than they do with their club team. It's a shame how many grown men are making a living off coaching HS kids, most who will never advance past the HS level. SG used to be for the upper tier players, now they have multiple teams at every age level, so that the lower level players can pay for the ridiculous salaries of the administrators and coaches.

I like Porter has a recruiter, not a coach. Between the two, I would take Crews.

So what availabe coach is not a gamble? You act like there are plenty of sure fire candidates availabe. Who would you recommend that will be a guaranteed success?

Jim Crews is 59 years old and appears to be in good shape. He could easily coach several more years.

Ou It's not just about recruiting, it's also about coaching. You don't have to look any further than a 120 miles to our west, to see what happens when you have someone who can recruit but can't coach. Crews had a very nice run at Evansville, no one is going to win at Army. I would also want to think he has gained a lot of valuable experience and could put that to use.
