Seems a little premature to be saying this, but it also wouldn't surprise me:

I think folks are asking a lot of Thatch. Even if he is back to 100%, we need to remember he sat almost an entire year. With the possibility of a shortened off-season, Thatch may not be up to the same level as Jacobs in terms of cohesiveness with the other guys.

Stockard just entered the transfer pool. I don't think SLU is an option for him any longer.
Weber's statement said Stockard is "on track to graduate on time" which suggests he will have to sit a year assuming no rule change.

Why has the subway system in NYC been allowed to operate through this outbreak without outrage while people have a heart attack over a nature trail or beach being opened?
Only reason I can think is that essential workers need to use the subway to get to work (I realize others have been riding it), while nature trails and beaches aren’t essential to be open and only encourage unsafe gatherings.

He did change regulations on the coal industry that no one wants to use.
Who needs clean water, air or chemical free foods? Bring on the “clean” coal. I heard they scrub each piece with hand sanitizer.

this part cracks me up. It has been noted by pretty much every former staffer that the man won't even read one page memos, but yeah, he rewrote all the regulations involving the oil industry. sure he did.

I may be alone in this thinking, but I personally think it would be a good thing if Yuri and J-Good don’t play as many minutes as they did last year. Not as a punishment, not because they don’t deserve to play those minutes...but as a reward, to take a breather, and stay fresh. We finally have a roster where we don’t have to stick to playing 7 guys all game, every game. We have guys that can pick up the slack and allow guys like Yuri, J-Good and French to get a little bit more of a break. I’m NOT saying that I don’t want Yuri and J-Good and French I’m the game in crunch time, but maybe get them an extra minute or 2 late the 1st half, early in the 2nd, so they have that much more left in the tank later in the season. We can spread the minutes out so everybody can contribute. Just my 2 cents.
Completely agree.

Depends who is playing the best in practice. Jimerson is easily the best shooter (and offensive weapon) of the bunch, but if you go back and watch the Seton Hall and Auburn games you can see he was a defensive liability at times (which is understandable for a freshman). Thatch if healthy is the best defender, but he's shot inconsistently and struggled with foul trouble at times. Jacobs is the best ballhandler and most versatile, but he struggles with disappearing in games. I doubt any of them are scared of a healthy competition for minutes, and it should be fun to watch who steps up.
I assume Ford will have a convo with Jacobs and tell him his PT will be fluid based on the above. Then will probably say that most of his minutes will come at the 2 and as a backup to Yuri, so Jacobs needs to continue to work on his shot, defense, but most importantly his ball handling. Also, I’m sure ford will tell him to cut the crap at the end of the year that got him suspended.
in my mind, we have 3.5 spots for our pg, sg, sf and 3/4 (TJ and Andre). That’s 140 min per game for 7-8 guys to split.

It was such a great ride. I've been to a lot of amusement parks throughout the country and to this day that was still my favorite roller coaster.
Mine is any Billikens GDT.

I wouldn’t want to face our bigs next year:
Has 6'7 245
Linssen 6'8 255
Jimmy 6'10 270
Madani 6'10 245

Assuming Andre and Marten sign and everyone is back and 100% healthy, this might well be the most complete roster I've ever seen for SLU.

I dont see it that way. Andre would have been a frosh, and coach wanted experience. Id like tho think we still get both?
I think it's a little curious Andre hasn't signed, but these aren't normal times anywhere. I'm with you and think both will be on board next year.

I wonder if this German takes the place of the Swede?
Was wondering that too. It's a little curious that Andre hasn't signed yet.

Confirmation from Carter re: eligibility. I like this commitment!

Sounds like he might be immediately eligible.

"Linssen transferred from Valparaiso after his freshman season before redshirting at UNCW for the 2018-19 season. He leaves the Port City with two years of eligibility remaining."

Highlights from 2017

This one is seemingly out of left field.
6'8" 250lb forward. Averaged 10 pts and 5 boards per game last year at UNC-Wilmington. Don't know his eligibility as he previously transferred from Valpo to UNC-W.

Can someone clarify? Has Andre signed his LOI yet?
Carter said yesterday he hadn’t signed yet and haven’t seen any updates to that from the school, the media or Andre.

It is amazing how much patience Steve has for the vulgarity expressed in this thread. It is disgraceful this thread is allowed to continue.
Right? I can’t believe Steve still allows Troll Guy to post. Also, and let’s be honest here, you‘ve really been a solid troll for the last couple of years.
