Billsboy, I think you are wrong. My source that the golf program is being dropped true. Then answer this, why is there no posting for a head coach for the golf program, unlike the field hockey coach. Also, why are they having a Athletic department administrator act as the golf coach for the remainder of the season?

Through my sources in the Athletic Department, I have found out that the SLU is dropping the GOlf PROGRAM and starting a track program. Just thought I would keep you guys updated.

I have no clue, I went to Notre Dmae for undergrad and went to slu to get my MBA. I donate some money but not as much as I do to ND, that is my choice. Maybe because SLu really has no alumni that have big money I mean millions. My roommate from ND is an engineer and he donates about about $500,000 a year to ND, I cant do that but If slu got somebody like that it would help out a lot.

Wasn't the Arena suppose to be built by fall of 2005. It will probably be another 2-3 years before we will have the thing built. Why doesn't Kim Tucci just donate some of his money to help build the damn thing, and I don't mean $100 eithr Kim. Missouri Baptist will have their new rec plex built before SLU does, they already raised 8 million dollars in one year for there new Rec on campus Rec Plex/

At least the Team looked like they were enjoying playing again. Last year with Jill, none of the players respected her, but from what I get talking to the players, they really respect shimmy. That is a step in the right direction and also the HS coaches I have talked to have had great things to say about Shimmy, unlike Jill who no HS coach cared for in the STL. Jill thought she was big time. She said SLU did her wrong and she was totally shocked that she got canned. That is how stupid she was. SHe had allthe tools to recruit and the budget just like the men, but did not know anything about what it takes to be a coach, Yeah, she knew her x's and o's but none of her players respected her, and a lot of her assistants could not stand her. She treated them like ###### to be honest, she thought she was big time, but thank god she is out of coaching

She is the Nike Rep for all the Division 1 schools for women's basketball. She was a terrible coach, treated her assistants like sh$t!! I heard some weird stories about her and how she treated some of her assistants. One was she made her senior manager statrt her showers for her after practice and get the oil changed in her car. I was amazed by that. SHE WAS REALLY BAD coach. Thank god she is gone.

I think Tommy is a good player, not as good as Hughs or Bonner. He hasn't really shown me much in to exhibition games, but I believe the hype when I see it.

Shimmy sounds like she knows what she is doing unlike Pizzotti who was awful. Shimmy said she woulld let tell her assistants to take the day off so they don't get burned out, that is amazing because she is right. Pizzotti never did that, hell she made her senior manager start her showers for her. I hopr shimmy doesn't make her Senior manager do that for her.

Floyd's a Racist!! He uses the race card against everybody, and makes the black race look bad. I am a young black male and I would never have my kids look up to him. None of his players ever make it in life, forget basketball. Most his players end up on the streets. Look at Antonio Bobo, he is doing time in jail. Floyd does not teach these kids about life. I grew up in Walnut Park and my dad worked 2 jobs and my mom worked one. I really never saw them much but they taught me the lessons of life and what is right and wrong. Even my high school coach helped me when my dad wasnot there. Floyd just use these kids for basketball, once they are gone he could care less about them. I know some of his ex-players that are my age and they do not have one good thing to say about him, except he helped them win a state championship.

Maybe Floyd has plans with his boyfriend instead of the shoot out!

I saw Cheryl at the airport this morning. I was getting in from LAX and the plane was turning around to go back to LAX. Could she be applying for the Stanford jop or just going out there for vacation.

I know the men and women this year will be switching practice times every other week, One week the women will practice at 3pm and then the men at 5pm, then vice versa the next week. Shimmy does not like to practce at 6am in the morning like Jill Pizzotti. BUt Pizzottiwas an idiot anyway.

Both of you are phucking idiots. Roy doesn't have clue about anything and Newberry is a phucking arrogant donor. I know who you are. For the last 2 years I worked in the AD as a student intern, I know a ton of crap the Broy is wrong about. By the way Broy no body can stand you in the Athletic Department Newberry we are glad you do not donate anymore too, even though you helped us out alot you were a pain in the ass
