Well, maybe they should listen to Booby Knight. He knows what's going on with J. Calipari, who's playing the system like a violin. Forget this one semester deal and just let 'em go pro. KY's victory last night was not fair. They looked like a friggin NBA team.

Please tell us why KY is not on this list. They graduate no one. This year 3 frosh that are going to the NBA. Last year 2 or 3. Previous year 4 or so. Cripes they should be banned for the rest of their existence as a non universtity. I want someone to tell me why KY can get away w/o graduating just about anyone, ok Jorts made it thru his SR year, but not many others. This APR is BS. At least the guys RM cut went on to other schools. Sorry, I still don't get it.

I spoke to KC's mom and dad tonight. They were so gracious in their praise of RM and SLU. KC's dad actually said to me, KC knew why he wasn't starting anymmore but didn't mind. He just wanted the team to win. If you don't love kids, and parents, like that then you're just not a Billiken. Guys, plus redbird fan and Billikat, we had a tremendous season. No moral victories anymore, this game tonight was very simply another learning experience for a still very young team. Do not be surprised if next year's Bills go to the final four. And don't think for a minute they didn't appreciate all your support. When the Bills bus drove down Nationwide Blvd. and we were all standing on that wall, heck, it brought tears to these old Billiken eyes. Sorry, Kshoe, I ran on and didn't put this in a couple of paragraphs.

I'll add a little more tomorrow (using bullet points, Kshoe), but what a fantastic weekend to be a Billiken. Best news, in a brief discussion w/ the Good Dr., he said SLU basketball will only get better. Got to like that.

Well, there were no upsets yesterday, so we've got the law of averages going our way today. And how lucky is X? They get a so so ND team, and now Lee High to jump over to get to the sweet 16. I swear if they somehow get to the final 4 and we stumble, there simply is no justice.

Thinking about this game, and it's gonna be a toughie but we don't need a miracle as that will come against KY who looked absolutely unbeatable last night, my guess is RM will try and neutralize MSU's interior toughness by us playing CE and RL together along with BC. Feed it into BC for kickouts to the kids from down under and pray they can hit their 3s.

Listen up Bills fans. Tomorrow is a huge day for the Rick Majerus student athlete Billikens. Let's all get together at that Front Street Bar at around twelve and start showing Columbus just how fantastic our Bills are and how well we support and love them. This is a new day for Billiken hoops so let's hear some hollering in that joint. Let's hear some Go Bills with some gusto! We old fans deserve this. You young fans need it and need to build on it. We are Billiken nation and tomorrow we're gonna show MSU and Izzoroni just what it means to be a Billiken. Heck, all weekend in Columbus, and I lived there for over 20 years, not many asked what's a Billiken. On Friday, I had the whole damn town asking me. Why? Because we're in the NC (friggin) AA tourney is why. So gather round at the Front St., we'll own it with Billiken Blue, and then go into that Nationwide Arena and raise the friggin roof. Walking up to the Alumni event at Front St was a huge rush. The best I could tell SLU was the only school to have such a "tailgating" event. Also, you saw a lot of people w/ OSU apparel walking around with a Billiken sticker which the alums were passing out. And it was crowded with way more Bills fans than I thought possible. The cheerleaders were amazing. Friendly and charming. They rep'ed the school well. Also, the band guys were great as usual. It was a great day to be a Billiken and now it only gets greater.

I'll just add this to this thread. The Billiken Alumni club did a great job in Columbus tonight. We were the only school that had a rally right next door to the arena. I honestly didn't think there were that many Billiken fans. The cheerleaders were great. Redbird, you've got a sweetheart for a daughter. My advice, keep her away from Jimbo. The man's dangerous. This was the best display of Billiken pride I've ever seen. Go Bills, beat MSU. I'm a little toasty.

I met KMs mom tonight in Columbus. I thanked her for letting him stay at SLU. She simply said, there was no choice. He was coming back to a great school and a great coach. KM won that game for us tonight. He was Cash Money.

No problem. And once this NCAA investigation is completed, Mizzery may find themselves with Kelvin Sampson II and Jim Tressel II. Actually, Sampson, the idiot, got canned for repeating the violations at Indiana that got him trouble at Oklahoma. Some guys never learn.

What your history with the Billikens? You should have joined the A-10, because after UL and Cincy leave for the Big 12, the non hoops schools will start a new conference, and you're gonna be playing in a conference that's weaker than CUSA in hoops.

I originally had them beating Fed Ex U then losing to MSU. However, after reading the above, I felt guilty. I changed it and have them beating MSU. And then used Nashville's logic and voila we're in the final 4, but lose to KY. RM still gets no love from Ms. Judd.

Hope you're right. I'd also like to see the A-10 woo Creighton if Charlotte departs. Then we'd have a clear path to creating two divisions of West and East. If my math is right, West: X, Dayton, SLU, Butler, Creighton, Duquense, and St. B's. East: UMass, Fordham, St.Joes, LaSalle, GW, Richmond, and RI. Or maybe switch St. B and Richmond. This would be great for SLU as we would get all our geographical rivals 2 times a year. Less travel $ and more fan interest. It makes too much sense, and therefore, probably won't happen.
