jmolina
The 10th ranked team in the NJCAA this week, Southwestern Illinois rolled to their 13th win in a row today - 73-50 over Kaskakia College. But I know you all want to hear about Stemler. After a 4 pt first half and a poor shooting exhibit, Harrington benched him late in the period and for the ENTIRE second half. Apparently there was an exchange between the two late in the first half, which I did not see. So, I asked Harrington about it after the game. "He was struggling today. The kid is under a lot of pressure. He's got about 30 schools looking at him. But he threw a bit of a tantrum out there. That type of behavior will not be tolerated on our floor. So, we sat him down to teach his ass a lesson." Ouch! Also, according to Harrington, Missouri State had people on hand to look at him today. Besides SLU, the coach also mentioned Purdue and Marquette are looking at Stemler. That's pretty much the highpoints. You can go to swic.edu/athletics OR NJCAA.org for additional information. tseugnekillib
The funny thing is that Stemler dates the coach's daughter. I can see him shaking as he knocks on the door this evening!!!
