I recall that the T was called by a referee who's vision of the play might have been obscured. The referee team did the right thing, conferred, got it right, and waved off the T. It was a correctable mistake and it was corrected. One of the best cases I coul dever use for why the referees get together at all .. instead of on every call like the NFL conferences we seem to be privy to week-in and week-out.
