davidnark Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Point guard Kwamain Mitchell of Milwaukee looked like the most refined first-year player. He scored a game-best 16 points and accumulated five assists. "He's a good kid and this (UMSL) game meant a lot to him," Majerus said. "I think he will be a good player." Freshman Ruben Cotto of Alton figures to improve after going scoreless in eight minutes. "It's one game," Majerus said, referring to all of his players. "And Ruben is a lot better player than he showed. "Overall, we did a good job, even though the kids were tense tonight," said Majerus, pointing to the hoopla surrounding the inaugural game at Chaifetz. "We played hard and gave a good effort." What a jerk. http://www.thetelegraph.com/sports/game_20...ns_majerus.html Quote

DoctorB Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 what's really funny is that he even put "sarcasm" in the subject line. OUCH! I was out of town, but it sounds like KM is quite the player. looking forward to seeing him this week against two decent teams. Quote
