courtside
Majerus hadn't said yes at the time of the press conference....and considering Biondi's inept PR skills, ...the results of yesterday's press conference speak for themselves. provos528
I believe that Fr. B has known beforehand, that Majerus would accept the job, before he went in front of the press, More of boss-employee confidentiality. If he had not know that he had the ace in the final hand he wouldn't have come in front of the camera and made a fool of himself. Julius Hunter or Levick could have been the one sent out. His reputation as the guy who brought back SLU from the dead in terms of academics and responsible in part for the revival of Saint Louis would be damage if he made fun of Bernie M. at the same time no Majerus.. Schasz
Personally, I would like to see Bernie and Fr. Biondi bury the hatchet. I don't know if it is possible, but both of their schtick is getting tiring to say the least.
kmbilliken
Once something goes on the upswing, Bernie usually jumps on the bandwagon. His spin will be SLU has finally made the commitment to follow through on a 20 year old promise.
billiken_roy
and considering that biondi consented to expenses that he never did before would mean that bernie would be right. this is a grand day in billiken history. greatest in my 30 years of billiken fanship.
