RPI's and Assessment:

Butler 31, in (wins over Indiana and ND)

Air Force 33, in (Patriotic bid)

Illinois 34, in

Mo. Stat Mulligans 37, ? (Whining counterproductive?)

Fla. State 38, out (sub-.500 ACC)

Bradley 39, ?, but I think out right now

Old Dominion 40, ?

Virginia 41, in

Drexel 43, out

Purdue 44, in

Clemson 45, out (sub-.500 ACC)

Texas Tech 46, >50% chance of being in

USC 49, in

Georgia Tech 50, >50% chance of being in

Syracuse 51, >75% chance of being in

Michigan 53, ?, 8-8 in Big Ten is usually good enough.

Okla. State 54, but only 7-10 in Big XII, 6-10

in regular season, out absent

winning Big XII.

West Virginia 56, out, bubble burst last p.m.

K-State 58, ?, More Huggy Punishment?

Stanford 64, out, but Pac-10 is lobbying for 6 bids.

RPI is not a be all end all.

Bradley shouldn't be on your board, 8 losses in mid-major league and 1-8 v RPI top 50.

Let me separate your other teams. Schools already in that don't need to be on your list:

Syracuse, Texas Tech, USC, UVA, Butler, G Tech

Bubble: Stanford, West Virginia, ODU, Florida St, Air Force, Drexel, Mo St, K-St, Purdue, Michigan, Illinois...

Clemson is out.

USC beat Stanford yesterday. USC plays Wash. State tonight. Everyone out here thinks USC is in. I saw USC play Cal in Berkeley, and USC has a lot of talent.

I think Purdue is in because of the 9-7 record in the Big Ten. Ditto for Illinois. I think the real bubble team in the Big Ten is Michigan, 8-8 in the conference, which lost to Ohio State today.

Iowa finished 9-7 in the Big Ten, which is usually good enough for the NCAA, but Iowa's RPI was 88 after yesterday's games, which would have Iowa even out of the NIT. So Iowa should be out of the NCAA absent winning the Big Ten Tournament.

I've heard some pundits saying that today's K-State v. Texas Tech game in the Big XII is for an NCAA bid.

Do you have Old Dominion in? If so, then the NCAA would be taking 3 CAA teams if it takes Drexel. I don't see that happening, even though the NCAA claims it rates the teams and doesn't consider the conferences. (Does anyone really believe that?)

My RPI's came from kenpom.com. I have noticed some variance between that and the RPI's at realtimerpi.com. I know realtimerpi.com updates its RPI's after each game, but even when the day's games are completed, there has been some variance between the two.

Today's Big Ten game is more for Purdue than Iowa. Texas Tech is already in. They are not playing for anything today. K-State is playing for a lot. ODU, Drexel...bubble discussion. USC is also in, not bubble.

I know, I am an idiot got a few TV on in the background and for some dumb reason I thought the game was live. Stanford is out. No way they are in.

I think the CAA gets three in because of Drexel won at St. Joe, at Villanova, at Syracuse, and at Creighton. That is four big non-conf road wins. Their non-conf RPI is 5 and non-conf RPI SOS is eight. Those are some lofty numbers.
