  1. Great research on the soccer part! He's a great soccer player from what I hear. As for on the hardwood, PJ is an elite talent. Earl Austin who covers the entire state said he's closer to being ranked 1st than 3rd which is impressive considering Aaron Rowe is a national top 25 type talent and Nicholas Randall is a P5 prospect every day of the week.
  2. Gause is 15 still during the July live period. He easily could've been a 2025. Skilled on offense. Rare hesitation package and pace for a kid his age. The more I look around the area... I think he'll end up the best prospect in the metro for 2024. Purvey is the most productive and Binion has the most potential. Side note: He's not a lefty, shoots with his right hand... just really good with both hands at the rim. I've seen another scout call him a lefty in the past as well.
  3. It's not a shot, that's such a reach.
  4. Chris was playing with me at MPJ Elite. However, he hasn't been a resident of Missouri for a year so he had to go back to Texas. He's an elite shooter at 6'11, unique player. I think he ends up MM to MM+. Darrion Sutton is with We All Can Go on the Adidas Circuit. He's got a long ways to go but is 6'9 with a good handle. If he gets the right development, he's got a chance to be LM to MM.
  5. 6'11 Center at Link Year via Austin, TX is playing with MPJ Elite. Word out of Link Year is that he's a mid-to-high major caliber prospect.
  6. Kennard Davis Jr. at Vashon is a top 100 talent nationally... no doubt in my mind. He's raised his skill level (handle and shot making off the bounce) to a point where he can play the 2 and 3 at the next level at 6'6. His motor and defensive ability on the wing are the best in St. Louis right now in my eyes. I feel confident at this point in the season now saying the 2023 rankings in the state go 1) Kennard Davis Jr. 2) Desmond White 3) Zaide Lowery BJ Ward at Chaminade has also been on a tear recently. I think he fits best in the Missouri Valley or Ohio Valley play-style wise however. Same goes for Justin Duff at DeSmet. I think he'd be a good pickup in the Ohio Valley. Jayden Nicholson has starting playing some PG for Vashon and it's been a great transition. Things are pointing up in Missouri. The 2023 class has really grown into its own recently.
  7. Rich and Davis are pretty underrated in my eyes. Both have developing skillsets and are strong, explosive athletes in a good frame. Davis has really improved his ball-handling, 3pt shot, and passing. He's without a doubt good enough and would be a good pickup for SLU if it were to happen. Rich is a Power 5 level athlete as a wing/forward. He's going to be showcased heavily by MPJ Elite this summer. We've also got a 6'11 center coming up from Texas that will be playing and is a mid-major type prospect in my eyes. Strong academic kid as well who can play at Ivy Leagues.
  8. Desmond White out of Helias HS in Missouri is the best PG in the state. He's 6'3 with great pace and shot making ability. His consistent development of skill and his frame will be hard to continue to ignore. In my opinion, a top 100 talent in the class nationally.
  9. We've got another top talent or two from the area to announce later on in the month as well.
  10. Anybody in the St. Louis will want to check out Vashon this tear. They have 4 juniors (2023) who I believe have a chance or will be Division 1 players. 6'6 Kennard Davis, 6'7 Jordan Logan, 6'5 Cam Stovall, 6'4 Jayden Nicholson. Logan is somewhat of an unknown but will breakout in his first year of varsity basketball. He's a great rebounder, expanding skillset as a 4 man, and has good athletic traits. Younger brother of Davion Bradford.
  11. Realistically I'm unsure. In my eyes SLU is a top 30-40 program in the Country so I always think they SHOULD have a shot at local talent. With that being said... I think Aaron is going to be a major blue blood target, possibly even G-League, Overtime, or Pro but time will tell!
  12. SLU has offered 2025 PG, Aaron Rowe, from Tolton in Columbia, MO. I know this kid very well both on the court and personally. He's going to be a blue chip prospect. 6'0 already, freakish athletic traits. Works incredibly hard with skills trainer, Pep Stanciel. The sky is the limit. For perspective he played up a year on Mokan's 15u and had 27 points in a Peach Jam game.
  13. Jimmy Bell coming back to SLU after his JUCO year definitely has legs to it... I'll leave you all with that.
  14. This is coming directly from his JUCO coach "Big-time shooter/scorer. Can create his own shot. Deep range. Good athlete"
