  1. Also, as of 15 minutes ago, his Twitter description still said SLU commit
  2. Hey guys, don't know if you saw, or if it was posted in another thread...Joe Lanardi's latest bracketology has as a 13-seed playing Texas Tech in the west region.
  3. It's whatever. I post on the board because I love the Billikens...I am a Billiken, class of 2007, I lived in Reinert Hall and Lindell West. I've never (intentionally) trolled anyone on this board. I just find it hilarious that he's talking sh!t to a fellow fan of the Billikens for no reason. But I really couldn't care less.
  4. Dude, chill. I'm just as big of a Bills fan as you. Not trying to cause waves. The sarcasm is unwarranted.
  5. Hey guys, I've already been n deemed a troll, so I don't mind speaking up. Everyone just needs to relax. We lost 3 close (essentially) road games. Today we saw the real Tremaine Isabell. If we can get him going, along with Bess, we actually have at least some what of an outside threat that defenses at least have to be aware of. And we only had (I believe) 8 turnovers against 1 of the best defenses in the country. Goodwin has not even come close to playing his best, but we all know what he's capable of. The point is, we're improving every game. It's tangible, we can see it. I don't think it's out of the question to hope we can get everyone playing well at the same time. If that happens, with our defense, we could absolutely beat FSU, and also steamroll through the A-10. We've only played 10 games. We got over 20 left to go.
  6. I think both have 2. We're in good shape, at least for now.
  7. That surprises me. Seems like we got at least a few offensive rebs. But I guess they got a few 50-50 boards that led to buckets too.
  8. Guys, I agree that the offense is atrocious, but we're killing ourselves with turnovers. Get a good shot and hit the boards and we win this game.
  9. Hey guys, from my perspective in section 201, we're the far better team. If we can take care of the ball, we could dominate the 2nd half. Maybe you guys got a better view on TV. It looked to me that that love to DJF hit the bottom of the rim
  10. Really ugly shooting by both teams. But good news is, they're letting them play.
  11. I can try. Not sure you guys want me to do it though. I'm like the anti-millenial. I'm really had with technology lol.
  12. Lol, you're probably tight DLarry! He looked good in warm up. Hit some jumpers, did the defensive drills.
  13. Moytoy, Bess looks fine. Fully participating in warmups. Looks like he's moving pretty good. Maybe that limp I saw was something else. I'd get surprised if he's not starting.
  14. Hey guys, no doubt Bess is playing. Fully doing warmups and looks like he's moving pretty good. I think he's gonna be fine. Maybe a bit slower, but will get fine
  15. Hey guys, I just got to the arena. Bess was in warmups. They walked to the locker room right as I was walking towards the court. He was noticeably limping, but WAS in his warmup gear. Wasn't able to see if he participated in the warmup, and if so, how much. I'll keep you posted.
  16. Hey guys, it seemed to me that when we struggled in today's game, we relied a lot 1-on-1 (1-on-2 or 3) inside. But every time we really worked through the offense, we got a high percentage shot more often than not. I really don't think that it's selfishness on the part of the players, in fact quite the opposite. I think the guys see us going through a slump and are trying so hard to pick the team up on their shoulders. It's human nature. But when we worked the ball inside-out, I thought we looked great. Open looks from deep and more room to work inside. Love to know everyone's thoughts.
  17. Don't let the wives/moms use the bathrooms lol.
  18. I agree. I have no problem dribbling into space to try and create off of it. But the subject came up as a reference to me asking about us almost what looked like intentionally dribbling into triple teams in the attacking third, where its almost impossible to control the ball in those tight of spaces in those conditions. That's all I was saying. Not trying to be a troll, but it happened a few times at the end regulation.
  19. What surprised me about the broadcast was how much better all the calls were for all 3 women's game than this women's games. I ended up turning the volume off, but it did piss me off that they cut to a horrible sideline reporter with less than 5 minutes left in regulation.
  20. You also struggle to maintain possession when you can't control the ball at your feet, especially in tight spaces. Keep the ball moving. But that's really irrelevant. If we finish, we win the game. That's all there is to it.
  21. I just don't understand how playing the ball on the ground into space is LESS effective the dribbling into a triple team on a bad field. I may not have ever played college soccer, but I played enough to understand how hard it is too keep the ball at your feet in tight spaces on a torn up field. I'm excited for Kalish too. The play has been much improved and I think he will do well with his connections to Gallagher, but I'm not going to sugarcoat and make excuses for a loss in the postseason in a game we should've win.
  22. You've missed my point entirely. If you're playing on a torn up field, it's significantly harder to keep the ball at your feet because a bad bounce could dispossess you. And if we had any finishing ability on wide-open chances, we would have won in regulation.
  23. Lol, God forbid anyone use sarcasm. And if the field is in such bad shape, why are we keeping the ball at our feet and dribbling into triple teams. It makes no sense.
  24. Why the condescension? It's happened more than a few times and we can't put anything on net. Sorry if I call it like I see it. Not gonna blow smoke up someone's ass.
