  1. "Boom, basketball right off his f@#king face" . I didn't know Crews was so fiery
  2. I think you could have a triple-double against Ritenour
  3. Been a while since I have seen Sloan. I saw him summer before his Senior Year. He had put on some weight and was walking around after the game with ice packs on his shoulders lol. Small but very talented. He's got bounce too. I prefer Verge but if Sloan has gotten back into shape he's definitely worth checking out.
  4. No disagreements here. Yuri has those kind of nights you mentioned. I am not as high on him as others in the forum. I just think he is available if the staff is high on him. As for Liddell I share your thoughts about him on the wing. I have a "wait and see approach" to that lol. I think it only happens if the rumors are true that Wiseman comes back to BBE. Then you will have Wiseman, Okoye, Liddell. I also think they are doing it to potentially increase EJ's offers.
  5. Yeah. Verge would be a gamble going off things I have read in the past. But watching him in the Juco game he seemed different. More engaged. Hopefully he is on the right track. Maybe having a familiar face on the coaching staff would provide him with some stability. As far as I know as long as a player meets eligibility requirements they can leave after their 1st year.
  6. I would rather not add to the S2 conversations but I have heard his name being mentioned. I am still curious about why Tate was at a Juco game watching Alonzo Verge. Was he supporting a former player (STL Eagles) or is there interest. He would be a big pick up. 6'3 playmaker who can score. Vocal leader. As for 2019...of course Liddell (heard he might play on the wing this summer), McKinney (in the mold of Thatch and Goodwin...high motor guy), Yuri...great floor vision, creates easy buckets for teammates. Terrence Hargrove is nice too. 6'6 wing. I like the shooter from Chaminade. I think his name is Luke. Needs to get stronger and work on his handle but he is next up at Chaminade. He's 2020 I believe. Nesbitt over at Lutheran North. He's raw but has potential. Might play for TeamRamey this summer. A sleeper in the 2020 class to me is Phillip Russell of Vashon. Starting point guard. If he continues to grow he will be worth keeping an eye on. Vocal. Can shoot and has handles. Good passer. Probably about 5'9-5'10 now with a thin frame. Cam and Kobe from Vashon (6'6 & 6'5). Cam is lined up for a big summer. Kobe has great potential but I need to see him get more serious about the game. 6'10 Bradford from CBC (2020). Needs work but worth keeping an eye out. Haven't had the opportunity to catch as many games as i did last year but those are a few i have been impressed with.
  7. Tough to say before the appeal process is over. Having Goodwin being involved in that situation definitely doesn't help. Lot of people were watching to see what kind of year he would have (on and off the court). If Goodwin stays I think there's hope. McKinney and Liddell are waiting to see what kind of offers they get this summer. Yuri should be in play if the staff like him.
  8. I found it weird when he committed so early. Thought he was just scratching the surface in terms of offers. If he makes the 17U BBE this summer he should get more offers. Super athletic kid
  9. They can be a little sensitive over there at WG lol . I don't know Kvidahl as a person but his basketball articles are usually fair.
  10. I caught the second half of that game. Forgot Gilyard was at Richmond. Won a state championship at Barstow. Had a great high school career.
  11. Yes. He played this past summer on the 16U team.
  12. Hopefully Ford and staff are recruiting him heavy. EJ is having a great year and is poised to have an even better summer with BBE along with McKinney and Okoye
  13. Yeah. Luke is one to watch out for. Good size. Great shooter. He struggled at times playing up a grade with McKinney and Liddell this summer. But I watched him against Vashon and the highlights from the Morgan Park game. Still needs to work on a few things but he's still just a sophomore
  14. Looks like Liddell and McKinney both played well Saturday at the Highland Shootout. McKinney was the MVP and Liddell I heard had 9 blocks. Belleville West and Vashon both won. Vashon and East side play Friday. Should be a good one.
  15. Gordon would be effective on SLU right now in the condition he is in.
  16. Yeah...I know. I was just saying he had a more competitive team last year for a schedule like this. Good experience though...should help them for their playoff run.
  17. Good point. I think they should have had this schedule last year. More experienced team. Even with a healthy Ramey all year this is a very tough schedule to attempt.
  18. Martin like Ford were hired to revive programs. I think both fan bases are happy so far.
