  1. Actually, yes. Please teach me how to post a gif. No sarcasm here.
  2. Unfortunately this board has gone downhill. It used to be Twitter, now it's facebook.... ugh. It's "Billikens.com," not "Billikensandtrollfanslookingtostirupanargument.com"... Come on, now.
  3. Well you're asking for it with posts like this... Just saying. And you can't expect to be treated fairly here. That's like "Oh, what's that US soldier? You think you can come here to North Korea and just be friends with us? Sure!!!! Come on, buddy!" Or, in Korean: "아, 미국 군인은 무엇인가? 당신은 당신이 북한에 여기 와서 우리와 함께 친구가 될 수 있다고 생각? 물론!! 얼른와!"
  4. Do you have specific examples as to when I referred to SLU as us? If in my early articles, I have tried my best to avoid that lately. I'm pretty sure there aren't any of those mistakes in my last couple articles. And I try to be as unbiased as possible so as to attract more of a neutral audience in addition to the existing fan base.
  5. Latest article posted: http://archcitysports.com/here-to-stay/ Hope you guys like it, and I hope that nobody is getting annoyed by me bumping this thread so consistently.
  6. Are you saying they even have a chance of winning the NIT? HAH. I was on the same side as everybody here. It wasn't necessarily one side or the other, we agreed with each other, but we were trying to be unbiased and make an argument for either side. That's what we were saying. I should've made the question more specific because our argument in favor of the NIT was if you're a young team, i.e. freshman and sophomores, the NIT tends to be much better experience than a whooping in the Round of 64. For example, Wichita St. or the SLU CBI team a few years back. I think victory and a longer season goes further in developing a young team than just the chance to play in the big dance. Not that any of those said players would rather have the NIT championship, but the argument is there... (kind of)
  7. Not saying I disagree, but does losing the first round of the tournament by 30 really mean as much as proving you're the best team outside of the tournament? I don't think there's much of a difference between a 14-16 seed and any team in the NIT...
  8. I'm warning you all: OFF-TOPIC. This will be completely irrelevant because we won't have to deal with the NIT ever again. But, I was recently in an argument and the question was: Would you rather win the NIT, or be knocked out in the first round of the NCAA tournament as a high seed?
  9. It's all in the interpretation. Pull through, as in down the stretch. I'm hoping he can make the right decisions for his health and physical wellness that would benefit both himself and the team the best, for the sake of the near future of the program. In the beginning of the year I had hoped he would be able to give us a couple ppg and rpg by conference play but he's had so much difficulty staying healthy. We might as well have Derrick Rose...
  10. Sad to hear... I'm really hoping he can pull through and be a reliable player next year. Get this surgery ASAP, Reggie. For all of us, if nothing else...
  11. He does chin-ups with 400-lb vests. One-handed. Makes Backhand look like a child.
  12. That would be cool, we could create a rivalry with them. Starting with when we seek our revenge against 'em in the tourney.
  13. Yeah... You caught me. But that's good to know, I'll keep it in mind.
  14. Wish there'd be more of an under-aged audience there, I would love to go. Oh well...
  15. I still have the bike today! Flat tire has kept me from riding it for about a year, but luckily they gave a ten year old an adult sized bike. Nice little mountain bike, still top ten for coolest experiences of my life. Tops my trip to Australia.
  16. Seriously? Haha, I was a baller. And by baller, I mean I was so bad the Billiken had to pick me up and help me make the layup.
