Great summation to stretch of time for Bill's B ball that is sort of unprecedented. Can't think of a time post Easy Ed where Biliken basketball had such an upside as we got going on now. 11/21/13 can't get here fast enough. Course want to enjoy summer, rest of El Birdo's season,start of Fisher's second year, final season of Breaking Bad, but other than that come on November!

I've heard SLU is also looking at Cook, making them the only one interested in all three as a package recruiting class at this point. Boy that would save boatload of $$ for recruiting. Recruit up to about 6:30 on game nights and get to TJOM by game time.

Agree and if things go as swimmingingly as we think they should this season it will be pretty easy to sell some high profile PG on being man to rebuild with around our three experienced bigs. Of course if anybody appears that's good enough now, grab him.

Is it just me or, or IIJM, that those bitching about initials say it is lazy on poster but one main reason for hating is that it takes time and effort to figure out what the initials mean? WLN?

It just seems like bad form to p!ss all over an 18 year old kid after the decision has been made. In all likelihood, it was a mutual parting of ways between SLU and Randy O and they both moved on a while ago. Yet, we have grown men who go to a message board and denigrate him for no real reason, other than him not coming to SLU after having been on the radar earlier. I guess It just kind of grates on me to see the number of derogatory comments posted about him in the past few weeks. Perhaps it's just sour grapes, perhaps some feel he thought too highly of himself, perhaps others felt he used SLU to get other offers, but why the need to crap all over him after the fact? In the end, he's just another young man trying to figure out the next best step to take after high school, no different than countless others at this time of year. Its a confusing and hectic time; even more so for someone who is able to play D-1 basketball. These aren't easy and light decisions to make. Sorry for the preachy nature of this post, but its just something that has been bugging me for a bit. WHO you callin' "grown"?

On recruiting threads; once 2014 thread started that makes this one about this year only IMHO. can't see why it would go away until we get our next stud, at which time should be dropping off first page instantly.I think it's cool we've had it last this long and still have one to give. Mainly cool cause of way it's turned out.With the real possibility of Bills actually staying for a while at the next level recruiting is more interesting and the fact that we're doing good at it makes it more enjoyable. some of the early bitching about how we weren't going to get anyone good and Crews can't recruit and it's too late et al seems kind of quaint now.

thnx never noticed that it's announced as such. I was going to add that with 3 pt era seems sometimes there are 4 guards out there sometimes, if that was the starting lineup would they announce G G G G F or C ?

IMHO basketball is still C F F G G. I think the 3 point age has made the 3 swing toward guard type play/player but I still think 3 is F. I'm total lay person fan so I may of missed a change...

I put forth with this recruiting class we have made a step to the proverbial next level if we make dance for third time and this class helps and look at least as good as the seniors did their first year. What JC had for recruiting was the likeliness of us being good already. As long as a team has that recruiting becomes easier. Hope in 5 years we will be lumped in with X, Zags, Butler, etc.

I figure +1 comes from Will Call usage. When holding tickets for a party of two it is in cardholder or account of first ticket and second or more is +1, 2, ect. so if you go with friend who picks up tickets you are with him as +1. So if you agree with a post +1 means you are with him.
