the strength of VCU etc way higher than SIUE and all the other alphabet team we struggled with in OOC. I think todays's team would have no problem beating NCA&T now even without MR. So it may be in eye of the beholder but I do see improvement.

I agree with all this. another thing to point out to the negative types is we are obviously improving as season rolls along. The struggles we have in conference is about the same as OOC schedule except we are losing all the close ones, but the level of competition is much higher in conference.
