I don't post in here a lot, but read most threads. I do know a decent amount of people connected to the Fordham athletic department, and there is a former power 5 coach that has reached out to Fordham about interest in the head coaching position. He has experience coaching in New York and has many NCAA tournament appearances in his career. I believe if they were to hire the coach, along with arena upgrades, it would be a big jump start to this program. The issues is, as it was stated above, many do not believe Fordham will pay Neubauer's buyout, and wait for his contract to expire after next season. People also doubt arena upgrades anytime soon. The University loves being able to talk about Rose Hill being the oldest gym in America.

Goodwin had 28 against LaSalle on Mardi Gras night a couple years ago. I believe it was the last game before his suspension started

We really can't be bashing on this sophomore class yet, considering a lot of people on this board would agree with me in saying they are almost like freshman considering how much playing time they got last year. Freshman year is a lot of inconsistency getting used to the college game, if every one remembers when last years group of seniors were freshman the leading scorer was Mike McCall at 10 points per game. Those games had a lot of different leading scorers with different guys showing up each game. Thats how this year has been, Miles had one really nice game, I thought Milik was the best player on the court last night, the other 4 freshman have all shown flashes of brightness, just as McCall, Jett, Loe, and Evans did their freshman year. As with the sophomores, Lancona has showed that he can contribute on the offensive end(lets not forget how he played at the end of the year last year), but needs to get better on defense (reminds me a lot of Cody as a sophomore since he only played half of his freshman year), Reggies footwork is great around the basket, but his finishing just needs to be a little bit better, which will come with time considering this is the first time in his life really playing on the block, he played mostly wing in highschool. Mike Crawford (I think all of people on this board expected more from him this year including myself) reminds me a lot of a Jake Barnett, a lot of people love to bash Barnett on this board, but the kid played some really good D and was good for about six to eight points a game, which is fine in my mind every time needs a guy like that. Lets remember how little these kids have played Division 1 college basketball. Yeah, we suck this year, but these kids are gonna be something special in about 2 years. When Majerus came here he said its going to take time, and it did, and after losing all five staters, its gonna take time to get this program back to where it was.

All great moments, but they are giving away $100 if you make the shot (and the fan did make it to night) so its got to be a tough shot, not a layup and the foul by Jett or a pick set by Conklin

For anyone that wasn't the game tonight or not in their seats at halftime, they started a new promotion called "Relive that Billiken Moment", and basically a fan goes on the court and tries to make a famous shot that a Billiken made in the past, so immediately I started thinking of what moments they would do for the rest of the year. Tonight they did Rob Loe's three pointer to tie George Mason at Chaifetz last year late in the game. Ones I thought of from recent memory are Kwamain vs Dayton, Anthony Drejaj vs Iowa, and Kevin Lisch at Richmond in the 3OT game a couple years ago, anyone else got any thoughts?
