Can't change the rules to fit the case. NCAA members long ago decided NCAA has no jurisdiction over how schools implement classwork. Many schools have easier courses that students are steered to when struggling. UNC no different. The fact that the majority of students in these classes were non-athletes also help indicate courses/major wasn't created solely for athletes.

Why go out to eat? You can cook dinner/drink water without driving to a restaurant and spending money/tip at a table? In person is still better than at home for a sporting venue IMO. Plus, the players deserve our support.

I think with Talen's talent and personality, he could very well become the face of the program. Wouldn't necessarily have to happen freshmen year though.

I wouldn't want my players playing for a coach who runs them off by not developing them. Many coaches feel the same way.

HS coaches show their players the history of how colleges treat their players.

You're not denying anything...you're protecting players from being screwed over again.

I've coached at the high school and college level for 25 years. If a HS coach sees you are chasing their former players off, you won't be welcome back on that campus, gym or summer team.

Most of the money goes to fund the other sports/scholarships.

I don't see Jericole making that jump this early...so inconsistent. Did he elevate his game to the next level or just catch lightning in a bottle so to speak? Will be interesting to see how his senior year unfolds.

French doesn't have Hayes' 3 point range at this point, more of a high post shooter, but consistent. Now, over time, who knows?

Malik is a really good player. Good athlete who needs to firm up a bit, he can really shoot it when he gets going. Would be a nice piece next to Goodwin and Gordon.

Watson is a better shooter and ball handler and I love his energy, both on the court and off. Reminds me personality wise of a young man I used to coach, Buddy Hield. Thatch gets by with over powering kids at his level. WIll be tougher to do at the next level and so he might take a bit longer than Watson to get going at the next level. Hope I'm wrong. Ideally, Ford gets both.

Like Thatch, but if I had to choose, I'd prefer Watson.

Is that because Carrawell can't recruit STL well, or because Marquette doesn't really recruit STL (I know they are currently after Watson)?
