Yeah I agree. I guess it doesn't have to be a grind out style of play. But the defense will have to improve and I just feel like I'm watching pure slop on offense.

Bishop and a Crawford are terrible. I want to see more of the freshman. Coach has to get a handle on the run and gun style that we see carried over from last year. Not enough talent to be launching three pointers on the run or while covered and driving the lane with three opponents in the paint. Grind it out, play defense, be patient on offense - keep games close and give yourself a chance to win.

Defend Shaka if you want. Obviously it wasn't coached to foul the guy, but still a major mental mistake. And on the other side of the coin.... tell your team NOT to foul? Call time out ahead of time and prep them, scream it from the damn sidelines.. Why the hell would you even guard them tight? Coach didn't get the memo to the team.

Well.. Hopefully it's not a major concern. He'll have a week of rest. Either way I still think the bigger issue is that we lost to #9 in the A10 and have lost 4 of our last 5. We looked terrible in the second half.. Seems to be a trend. Whatever issues we want to concern ourselves with do not matter if we can't close out a game.

Sure seems like it. I'm too tired to pull up box scores (or remember off the top of my head), but in the last couple of seasons, how often did one or two players dominate us to the point that they looked like they were a top 5 nba draft pick.

3 Problems: NO inside game. CR, RL & JM aren't getting it done, not sure if they ever will. This scares me the most. ###### coaching.. ? wtf Injuries.. KC, GG and KM. Obviously KM being the biggest one. All are needed.. JB shouldn't even be playing.. Can't believe he's starting.. All of this is causing a major breakdown in the one thing that made the Bills successful last year: Defense..

So to stay even remotely close late in a game, somebody has to go nuts from three?

Yes it's slow Refs seem to be making good calls so far.. Romar might be pissed but they're the right calls.

Just got home from the game. This game got me really excited for the season. There was a few series in a row where RU failed to get the ball to the rim. Dwayne Evans & Jett look like they are ready to dominate this season. Dwayne looks stronger, and more confident on the floor. It will be difficult for our opponents to match up with him. He will be one of our leaders. Jett just amazes me at his ability to miraculously levitate. McCall quietly added 14, looks solid. Excited to see Keith Carter in action. Looks like he will fit perfectly into the system while KM is out. Biggest factor of this season will be CR. We'll see how he plays in a real game, but he also looks much stronger/more confident. So excited for the season to get underway. GO BILLS!

And this is all very true. I guess ratings on high school recruits should be left to the schools actually recruiting them, not ESPN. Obviously RM is going to know more about KC than anyone from ESPN. I just thought it was interesting that I read a lot about KC on this forum, yet he isn't even mentioned on many recruiting sites.. While on the other side of the coin, I don't here as much about JD on this forum, yet he does have some recognition from ESPN. This is one of the reasons I love this forum and why I joined it. I consider my input to this forum be very little considering I'm unable to watch or attend most games since I have left St. Louis, and Cape Girardeau has zero coverage of them. A lot of you guys seem to know your stuff and I use this forum as a source for information on guys like KC. Just thought I'd ask if anyone knew what the deal was with ESPN.
