Did you not see WR asked to be subbed after running the court less than ten times. I certainly wouldn't say he had the energy of BC. Passion can be deemed a few ways - one of them as doing what it takes off the court to play on the court.

Billikan must still be celebrating this win so I will start the thread. The obvious: Great win and very proud of our boys! FT shooting is going to be the cause of our early death. We will not compete with the big boys at this rate. This needs to be addressed with urgency. KM is looking more comfortable. Two games in a row where he was a leader and effective. I hope this continues but I am a bit cautious. JJ performance was underwhelming but considering his wrist injury on Thursday I am he played at all. I expect him to bounce back quickly. I felt like we contained Dillard pretty well. Johnson had me concerned. Glad to see their two bigs get in foul trouble early. They really clogged the paint. Nice to see Chaifetz sparring with Archie. BC is BC. I thought he did well staying out of foul trouble especially with a high energy/emotion game at hand. The subtle: DE almost a double-double. Love this guy! KC and CR are finally settling into their respective roles. nice to see RL hit a three. I think this is a confidence booster for him. CE great off the bench with some decent D tonight. Here is what I know: As of Wednesday evening 10pm there were 500 tickets left. Will be a near Sellout or a sellout Dayton is bringing two buses of fans. Local fans of Dayton will be in force to watch the Vesties go down.

The guy speaks English as well as I do so the ESL reasoning would not stand. RM didn't think he was ready to contribute this year so saved him a year of eligibility.

JBiz brings up a good point about being in hypervent mode. We are in unchartered territory with our recent success so we don't really know how to handle the bumps and obstacles when they arise as fans. It is easy to over-react when you feel like the prize is slipping away right out of your hands - and if you squeeze a little harder it won't slip away which ends up having the opposite effect. Billiken fans are like junkies who are on a drought that just got a little taste - ready to do whatever it takes to get it.

By the way, KM and KC's defending have been enough to earn both of them time on the pine. They are both getting blown by on D which is disturbing. In addition, KM should be getting to the line often especially when down to stop the clock and get points on the board by nailing FTs. Bunnies and FT are obvious problems that are mainly mental which is scary.

I believe this thread warrants a decent amount of attention and am surprised it has taken this long to be discussed. In terms of KM, he has been underachieving all year. He lacks the killer instinct from two years ago and it really shows. I think the TW analogy is a very good one, unfortunately. KM may be broken and beyond complete repair and I am afraid we will never see the old KM consistently again. So, who becomes the new leader after BC leaves. KM will shoulder some leadership by default but I believe DE will be the next leader with Carter being groomed to be KM of Soph year. In terms of JB, I wouldn't expect too much in the next two years. He will be a bench, role player at best. I think his stock was obviously overinflated since he has been here. Don't be surprised if ET is a one and done. If a big comes along then the rights may get exercised. KC - he has earned his comments on here. A person getting those minutes with nearly zero production needs to be examined. His minutes have only been cut lately so he is not exempt from discussion. CR - Non-entity. Looking forward to his eligibility expiring. Nice kid, non-factor. JJ - pumped to see him develop. MM - streaky but can shoot and is quick. Next year he could be huge especially with JJ and if KM continues to be stagnant. JM and GG - nobody knows so impossible to comment on. The ups and downs are hard when you are a Billiken fan.

We fouled while shooting the 3 twice. We played like idiots. Very disappointing. FT shooting is pathetic. UMass guarded the charity stripe well.
