McBroom needs to be in. Jett needs to stop with the terrible turnovers. I don't care what the defense is, get Evans the ball. We force it in to him anyway. Barnett had chances to make big plays and he didnt. I've never seen a more rushed free throw than the one he missed. Crews needs to ride the refs like every other coach. Good losses don't mean . We better start piling up the wins because the A10 isn't guaranteed to give us the chance at a lot of quality wins.

Yeah I hate that stuff. The only reason it's good is because there will be some people on campus who really want that shirt and the only way they can get one is to go to the games. I'm sure they'll have leftovers after tomorrow.

Yeah I kind of agree with you. I can't remember how many times in these last 2 games, I've seen someone set a ball screen and not even come close to making contact with the defender. You can blame that on the ball handler too for not fully taking the screen. I think there's a definite execution problem right now

I'll agree with everything you said. Our senior guards are not playing like senior guards at all. I'm done saying anything about Jake. It's not like I have much of a clue of what I'm talking about anyway. Let's just go out and get a huge win tomorrow.

And if Jake actually shoots the ball, maybe we beat Wisconsin. I know nobody played well in the Wisconsin game, but if you're going to say Jake is the reason we beat SIUC, despite Evans scoring 11 points in the last 6 minutes and McCall scoring 19 points then I think you can call out Jake in the Wisconsin game.

Also regarding JB not showing up in big games, I really really hope I'm on here eating my words tomorrow. Early in the season (especially SIUC) JB looked like he was shooting with unbelievable confidence. Then against Wisconsin, he doesn't look confident with the ball at all. I just want to see that confidence no matter who we are playing. Like I said, hopefully he really steps up tomorrow and gives us a huge spark off the bench with a couple of big 3s and then I can take from everyone on here for the rest of the week.

My only problem with Jake is that game where "he hits 5 or 6 3's" will probably come against Fordham when it doesn't matter rather than against a team like Wichita State, Wisconsin, VCU, etc.

Outside of a couple first half steals against Butler at home last year, I can't recall a time that Barnett has played well against a good opponent. And even Butler doesn't have as good of athletes as other top teams. He's a 5th year senior but I remember saying against Wisconsin, Oregon last year, and the conference tourney last year that he just looks and plays scared against good teams or in big games. He is a great representative of SLU off the court and he shot us back into the game vs SIUC and kept us in it vs ORU but I just want to see it against better competition. Shooters should be able to shoot against anyone and shooters should always be looking for their shot and I don't see that from Barnett against good teams. I honestly don't know if Crawford can do better but if Barnett is going to play scared out there then I want to at least see Crawford have a chance.

My guess is that he keeps getting to be in charge because he's well behaved. 05 wasn't always the most well behaved but he made it a fun and rowdy environment for everyone around him which fed up to the others at the game. The student section needs 05. I've been trying to convince him to go get his masters degree and maybe even his phd.

Last year I was "2nd in charge" of the SLUNatics. The leader wasn't doing . He was missing games and just did it for something for his resume. He missed the game after Majerus passed away so 05 and I decided to put together the blackout on pretty much no notice. Turned out well. For the rest of the year, I just kind of took over. I'm not trying to brag on myself and I give a lot of credit to the team playing well which attracted more interest, but I thought the students were really good last year. I took control of twitter and facebook and used it constantly. I didn't care about overwhelming people with posts and tweets. The best marketing is usually pretty annoying in my opinion. There were 4 members on the SLUnatics board and eventually the only people who did anything were me, my brother, my girlfriend, and 05 (all of whom weren't even on the board). This year you have the same leader as last time and a friend who might do even less. For them its about putting it on their resume and getting a guaranteed front row seat and the game for them and their friends. (And when I say front row seat, I mean seat. Like sitting down) My brother is on the board this year so hopefully I can convince him to take a bigger role. Posting this on here isn't a message to the leaders, because if I had to guess, I'd say they are completely unaware of this message board.

We won't beat many teams especially top 10 teams in the country from the big 10 when our 2 Senior all conference guards play that poorly. Rob has a key turnover and I feel like the only time he jumps is when he gets pump faked but I thought he was fine tonight. Jett and McCall were not good. McBroom is frustrating but at least he can create and hit shots. McCall is one of the best I've seen at the 15 foot pull up yet he keeps driving in and forcing up garbage. He's not big or strong enough. Jett just looks lost. It looked like he went in for a layup a couple times tonight and instead of drawing contact and getting to the hoop and he just kind of jumped straight up and got his shot contested and drew no contact. Someone tell JB that even if he has no intention to shoot the ball it's ok to at least look at the basket. Defenses have to respect his ability to hit a shot. Easy to defend when you don't even look. He looked scared tonight. I'd rather him force up a 23 footer than drive nowhere and lose the ball. Hell I'd rather him run over people and get an offensive foul than try some of the stuff that he did tonight. Manning looked decent actually. Glaze is improved but I honestly might like Lancona more. He got burned defensively a couple times but had a nice block and some rebounds. Not like Glaze doesn't get burned defensively too. Lancona does remind me of Cody. Glaze needs to play and pull down rebounds but I'm fine if Lancona sees more time. Agbeko. Not much to say. Dwayne is the key. Bad calls or not he's the Senior leader. He needs to stay out of foul trouble and stay on the court.
