There is a pregame meal before Wednesday's game but from what I understand, the recent trend is the students get their pregame meal and then leave.

I was in charge last year. Graduated though. Now watching the games from regular seats. Not that we were perfect last year by any means but it's hard to watch the student section at all this season. Hopefully being ranked helps a lot.

Oh and one more thing. We might have the worst "big heads" in college basketball. Some of the ideas that they come up with are terrible.

The leaders are terrible that's no secret. The problem is that the athletic department either doesn't recognize it or won't do anything about it. Also, can we get rid of the balloons? They were fun for one game of the year. Now they're just on the floor after 3 minutes or they're just being played with and distracting students.

We don't need to play the huge teams though. Play more teams between 20 and 50 in the rankings and it'll be great for our SOS and those teams are also big enough to attract lots of fans. I know not all of those teams will come to Chaifetz because they think they're better than they actually are, but you can get some of those types of teams every year. There are always upper middle power conference teams looking to beef up their non conference schedule. Also look at some of the better teams from bad conferences and play them. They end up in the top 40 or 50 every year and the thing that hurts them is that they rip through their conference schedule but they don't play anyone out of conference.

We might be as good of a team as them but they're undefeated and we have 2 losses. They do have a better collection of wins than us including a win over us. So they should be ranked significantly better than us.

We should want Wichita St to be ranked in the top 5. If we go 16-1 at home with a loss to a top 5 team and combine that with potentially 10 or more road wins we'll look great

Yeah they have plenty of good wins. Our wins aren't great but like Ace said, we have 5 or 6 chances to pick up good wins here plus the conference tourney.

Where are all the St. Bonaventure fans that come on here and talk every year? Don't forget they were 2012 A10 Tourney Champs. Hopefully they keep riding that accomplishment

That's a good point. 0-2 with 2 home losses to Cal and Stanford I think. Sometimes it seems like the voters ignore or aren't aware of results from west coast teams so they may not fall too far.

Yeah its best for us if WSU keeps winning. No doubt about it. If WSU can come to SLU and win but can't go to Missouri St and win that doesn't look all that great for us
