Heard Guy on the radio today give a pretty decent pitch for the game tonight. Talked about how SLU is 18-2 and 5-0 in the A10. Chaifetz is a great venue to watch a game especially when the place is packed. It's not every day that you can see a top 25 team in person. Need to be loud tonight because it's a big game against a quality opponent. Said he doesn't get how SLU can win their game last week and fall in the rankings.

Anyone know why we haven't brought these back? I thought this was one of the coolest Chaifetz has looked. They're probably expensive but the Athletic Department is bringing in a lot of money of the student fee for tickets. Also, maybe instead of buying 20,000 balloons, you could put that money towards buying 10,000 glowsticks. Or not doing free shirts a couple times a season. Would look great for the Blue Out.

Big time game. We haven't really beaten anyone great in A10 play yet and this is a chance to separate ourselves from another team in the standings. Hope the students can show up in full force and not just be there, but actually make noise. The Athletic Department needs to stop only relying on social media to advertise to students and actually get out on campus and hype up the game and the team. Hope we can get 10,000 fans to the game. I think we'll be close.

If we do a slogan or something like the spoons or whatever, just make it unique. Billiken Bandwagon would be good and you could something with the band but I don't know. If your friend, husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, whoever tells you to sit down and not make a scene, just end your relationship with them. Or just keep going. Get them fired up. Show them videos of great SLU plays before the game and get them amped. Make it so no team wants to play at Chaifetz. Make it so that no ref wants to ref at Chaifetz. Make a fool out of yourself. Stand up. If someone tells you to sit down, give them the website for Mizzou basketball tickets. When Guy Phillips reads that stupid message about sportsmanship, just drink the whole time. Make signs or something and let your kid hold it up. Get your kid on tv or the big screen and they'll want to come to every game. I had a rough week at work so I'm letting it out here. Seriously we're taking this to the final four. Evans beasting in the paint and knocking down the 15 footer like it's a layup. Rob draining shots from everywhere and blocking everything in the paint. Grandy rebounding the out of the ball and doing everything right. Reggie crossing over every fool that tries to guard him. Manning coming in and swatting 4 shots a game and dunking it every time he touches it. Lancona coming off the bench and draining 3s like he's Larry Bird. McBroom draining 3 after 3 after 3 and popping hid jersey like Dee Brown. McCall shutting down everyone defensively and shooting the ball like he is his first 3 years. Jett playing like an All American getting us in sports center for this 360 dunks. Barnett draining shots like that from Duquesne and that from URI a couple years ago. Crawford draining clutch shots like he's a senior and throwing down on some unexpecting fool. Crews leading the way. We'll have so much attention that the St Louis media won't even be able to cover the team because the media room will be so packed after every game. It's definitely honest and fair . I don't want puff pieces either I guess, but I just wish that his article encouraging fans and media to support SLU didn't have so many reasons not to support SLU. Don't get me wrong though it was a good article and the attention is definitely good.

Glad the article was written. Was a little disappointed in it but maybe I expected too much. I feel like it had a little too many negatives in it to get the full point across. Agree with whoever said that we need Miklasz to write an article or tweet or something. Surprised he hasn't done anything all year

Can we get all the mizzou talk in one thread? That way the people who want to talk about mizzou and make fun of them being CBI team with a terrible coach can do that and those who don't want to read it can easily stay away.

Our resume is unfortunately not that impressive yet. 7-0 on the road will carry some weight though. Just keep winning and we'll pick up enough quality wins.

That was a bad half. Teams will shoot that type of percentage when our defense is that bad. I'd like to see the majority of the minutes this half go to Crawford and Glaze instead of Barnett and whoever.
