Mack would be great. I understand the concerns of him being out of the game in the biggest change in NCAA history and needing to be a part of a rebuild. But it is easier to rebuild in this environment. He's probably my #2 behind Schertz at this point but any of the top 3 or 4 are pretty interchangeable.

I really thought the A10/MWC showdown that ended up getting canceled was a good idea. The A10 should partner with as many conferences as they can. Because realistically you just aren't going to get those games with the power 5 conferences.

It's always a tough call. I read something a few years ago that about 55% of schools do it pre-game but that number has been getting smaller each year. Billiken fans definitely arrive late (gametime) and many leave early so it's gonna be empty if you do it pre-game even if you advertise it (START NOW!). It's a late start against a good team and it's never fun coming off a loss especially one with the potential to be a big loss (although i think we hang in there for a while next week). It's going to be empty if you do it after. Not sure there's a great solution here but might be kind of interesting if Travis Ford gets the mic after the game for likely the last time.

Agree we have to wait until then to formally hire him but we should have a deal in place with him now so that if they make a run in March, the big boys can't swoop him up

If they are operating this search correctly they should be very close to a deal with a new coach. Whether it's an official deal or a handshake deal, someone should be lined up by March 13th when our season ends.
