Ms. Doubtfire's Achievements
Recruit (1/7)
-
Two top 100 local recruits just verbally committed to the University of Houston. While they do have a basketball history history we don't, football team, etc., from my limited knowledge (just moved to houston a few months ago) they seem to have the same recruiting issues that SLU has (they're a local school, multiple large state universities within a 2 hour drive, etc.). Apologize if this has been posted somewhere else.

I hope you're right, but I can't imagine we will even be close to that conversation.

We also got Corey Patterson in the trade. Does that change your view on the trade?

I'm not even married yet, although I will be Saturday, and my future wife is all over reinstating Kwamain & Willie. Go BILLS!

Willie, for what it's worth

sounds like its up to SLU... Reed Jr., meanwhile, isn't giving up. "Everyone my dad has no impact on my decision to attend slu in the spring semester," he tweeted on Friday. "If slu wants me back then I will be back! I love slu!" -
OT: Alexander fight at Chaifetz
Ms. Doubtfire replied to Ms. Doubtfire's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
I too will be in attendance. Went to the Spinks v Judah fight a few years back and it was one of the most entertaining live events I've gone to. It was like being present for the opening scene of Rocky II with Spinks & Nelly entering the arena. -
Stltoday is reporting Devon Alexander will hold a title-match at Chaifetz on 1/29/11 with the winner possibly getting a shot at Manny Pacquaio. Do season ticket holders get first shot at seats?

Guy Phillips is an embarrassment to the University

Basket by Remekun...wait no it was a white guy. -
Tonight was really the first time I've been really impressed by KC. Without him, we would've been blown out of the building. MM needs to pick up the defense, but played a good game overall.

not when another school is trying to double your salary.

GDT: Saint Louis @ Massachusetts

It's fun watching KC grow up. He never would've drove to the glass like that a month ago. -
Did anyone see the PD had 2 stories on the Bills on page 1 of the sports section Sunday? Not saying they get the coverage I would like or they deserve, but they're moving in the right direction. Cardinals baseball will almost always trump SLU & MU basketball. Nice pic of Vonn.

Porter Moser did the postgame interview 101.1 tonight
Ms. Doubtfire replied to GOSLU68's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
Hands down Porter is a much better post-game interview. I've mentioned more than once to my dad that Rick has to be the easiest interview that Earl has ever conducted. Typical post-game interview...Earl starts of by saying "good game coach" and Rick rambles for 10 mins or so, always saying a slightly different version of the same thing (thanks to the fans, etc.) and doesn't really ever say anything interesting, only to be followed up by Earl saying "thanks coach". Not really trying to knock Rick, but Porter is much more interesting to listen to. Porter saying he thought Christian had 8 fouls last night is hilarious.
