Actually the upper seats are more full than most other games this year. Lots of freebies and little kids today. So May will at least be able to point to nachos sales as a win.

Crews would solve this by having the other four players hang back when we shoot free throws.

This year's team playing zone is up there with the more embarrassing things I've seen ever out of this program.

Let me check the standings…yup DePaul is listed under the Big East. SLU is listed under the A10. Another place DePaul is listed is the list of institutions getting payouts from the Big East’s media contracts. And SLU is listed under programming that will be begging KPLR to put them on if BSMW collapses.

For all the deserved derision that DePaul gets, a lot of people take the DePaul job over the SLU job. The O’Loughlin Center is cute but a footnote compared to a Big East program located in Chicago. If the big-checkbook guys can get him then bless them. Because hiring him is one of the few things I can think of that would actually excite me about the future of the program. Can anyone remind me of another time a coach with a ranked team has left to put out some smaller program’s dumpster fire?

He's been interim-head coach Travis Ford for 2 years now in my mind. But I can't see them making a mid-season change unless Chaifetz just can't stand it anymore. FWIW immediately after the game ended May and Chaifetz were huddled in the corner of the court and it didn't appear to be a pleasant conversation.

Brad's addition and the hope of Sincere coming back are great. But they would seem to take us from a team you'd expect to finish at the bottom of the A10 to one in the 5-8th range. So sure we could have a chance at the conference tourney. Not a good one by any means, but a chance.
