  2. I think everyone on this board appreciates the fact that you have let us know where you will be spewing your babble for the next 24 hours. Make's you easy to ignore!
  3. Btw...Princeton went to the Final 4 the year Larry Bird and Magic Johnson hooked up. The 4th team was Depaul.
  4. Loe would have been a perfect candidate for a red shirt had Willie not been suspended.
  5. She is a great coach, and she certainly will be missed. She loved it at SLU, but the chance to go home, where her dad has built one of the most successful club programs (KIVA),as well as one of the top high school programs(Assumption)in the country, gives her a fertile recruiting ground she could not find here. However, with the right hire, I see the program remaining atop the A-10. The new coach will find a roster stacked with young and talented players. Recruiting should remain steady. SLU is an attractive place for the plethora of very intelligent Catholic girls looking for a school that fits their goals(which are far diferent than men's basketball players). The A-10 is not very competitive when it comes to vb, so winning the conference is something they should compete for with or without Coach Kordes.
  6. My comment was in reference to this earlier quote "The game is a result of an effort to promote Jesuit education. It's called the "Jesuit Basketball Spotlight" and was developed by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU). Georgetown was just an example. Like Bonwich said, "BC, Marquette,Creighton, Gonzaga would all suffice.
  7. Since we are being so supportive of this effort to promote the Jesuit's by playing D-2 Rockhurst every year, then why don't we have a game scheduled with Georgetown? We need some big name home games. We could have used some Jesuit love, but it seems we only give it.
  8. SLU is always recruiting, as they should, and regardless of the # of scholorships available, if Majerus finds a kid that he feels will upgrade the roster then a spot will open up...one way or another.
  9. I don't believe you will see either Mizzou or Illinois give up a home game to come play Washington in St.Louis. They both come to St. Louis for a game now so there is no benefit for them to do it.
  10. There are some sports in D1 that aren't allowed to split up scholarships. Basketball and volleyball are 2 that I know of that fall into that category.
  11. do you know if the team still has a chance to go to the ncaa
