Good to hear that OBI is back. -
Good to hear. I really believe he’s going to be something special for SLU.

This board needs to lighten up a little. Ever since Brad suspended Obi, everyone on this board has been going crazy. Its ok guys, Obi will be back soon.

3. what's the story with obi? is he in or out? -he has said he's academically ineligible but still a member of SLU Good to see that Obi is still with the team -
What Could Brad do to win you back?
Ikeakorphan replied to Billiken Rich's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
Obi bring depth to the team and he would be a very versitile power forward who can score in bunches. SLU needs to bring this athlete back. -

Put Obi back on the team and have him start. -
Thats a real bummer that Obi is not succeeding at SLU. He was the 2004 Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Player of the Year and the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) private school Player of the Year. That award is very hard to get as a senior and he got it as a junior. I really hope Brad keeps him on because the people in Houston see a lot of promise in this young man.

I went to high school with him and he was one of the best players to come out of Houston. A lot of people thought he would go to a big time program his junior year but when he tore his ACL it went all down the drain. I hope the SLU coaches can develop this young man into something special.
