  1. Could someone, maybe you Roy because you know the most about the inner workings of the A-10, draft some sort of general letter we could all copy and send to her expressing our dissatisfaction? Something that points out, in a list format or something along those lines, all of our concerns from the TV schedule to the apparent apathy of conference management? just an idea, i'd be willing to help
  2. I think it should be mandatory for anyone who particpates on this board to write a letter to Ms. Bruno expressing our dissatisfaction with the TV schedule and her handeling of the A-10. I believe there are something like 750 registered uses (plus all the guests who read the board) which, if we all e-mailed her, would send quite a message. Flood her inbox with complaints about this dog crap conference and her leadership. We have to get the attention of these knuckleheads. I'm drafting my e-mail to her as we speak.
  3. I completely agree with the need to eliminate two bottom dwellers from the A-10. The conference is already big enough and these two teams have been terrible, year after year. In my opinion, the A-10 would improve significantly if they could just get rid of Duquesne and St. Bonny. Year after year they are terrible and it is clear that they are not deserving of the "upper" mid-major conference that is the A-10. The conference RPI would improve, the level of competition would improve, and the overall preception of the a-10 would improve. I truly believe that people view the a-10 as a low mid-major conference now, along the lines of a sun belt, big west, and colonial athletic (fans with your blinders on, this is true, whether or not you want to admit it). The move to the A-10 could still remain a solid move if the A-10 eliminates two of these just perenial aweful teams. Thoughts??
  4. Some on this board are making the negativity claims against myself and several other posters. This bashing is becoming extremely stale as Drew put it and I couldn't agree more. BRich, relax pal. We are all fans here and want the Bills to do well. I also agree with Roy that the SIU win on the road could have been the game to hang our hats on. This could have been the big win that the committee will look at to put us in the tourny, especially because it was on the road. Before the season, I also felt we had to win (or at least come within a point or two like the Gonzaga game last year) a game against one of the big dogs on our schedule, knowing that the A-10 was most likely a one bid (two at the most) conference. The Mississippi win was a big one because once Miss gets into SEC play, their RPI will rise quicker then a Viagra commercial, in turn helping us. I still doubt that 22 wins in the regular season gets us in, there will be too many good mid majors like us with better records out there. I believe 23, with two wins in the conference tourny, and we are in. 22 and 2 in the conference tourny, hello nit.
  5. That's good to hear. I like to hear Brad getting more fired up then he was in the Mo St. game
  6. Billikan, you really are becoming a joke on this board. You can't even enjoy one win without a jab at the "naysayers'. I would like to know exactly who you are talking about when you say that? You really need to grow up. As far as the game... Great 2nd half, we sounded fantastic!!! If we play like we did in the 2nd half every game, there's no doubt we are a top 25 team. We sounded that damn good. Luke played incredible again, and Lisch finally found his shooting stroke. Great win for momentum into the A-10 season.
  7. Interesting observation because the radio announcers were freakin out constantly. Their emotion makes the game alot more enjoyable.
  8. we had half the atmosphere in the arena that Creighton has. Man that looks like a great place to play! packed, loud, rowdy.
  9. Skip, you can't come on the board and comment on a mid game thread. You should know that. Poor form skip, poor form.
  10. For those in attendance, with all the bad calls, did Brad ever get heated and challenge the refs?? Bad calls happen in every game, but so far this season, Brad has sat his butt on the bench and taken it. Personally, I'd like to see more fire out of him like in the early Brad days. But anyway, was he up arguing? Sounded like the crowd was into it.
  11. "I've never seen such a bipolar team" I couldn't sum up our team any better then that. Excellent Nashiville. 1st half = embaressing 2nd half = we look like a top25 team
  12. YES!!!!!!!! WHAT A COMEBACK!!!!! YES!!!!
  13. Radio guys are cracking me up, sounds like they are terrible.
  14. Sounds like a major improvement in game flow
  15. Anyone else by this 2nd half comeback??? Cuz we sounded like we couldn't ddo anything right. Brad must have whooped their @$$ into shape!! That being said, there's still 13 minutes to go...I'm afraid we'll tire, and we know what happens when JJ or DB come in (nothing but bad things)
  16. Agreed. We haven't been able to hit the broad side of a barn the past 5 years.
  17. Once again, Luke's the only one showin up! Good job boy!
  18. Yea, his legs should be tired - it must be that busy schedule of 1 game every 8 days
