  1. Something isn’t adding up with this Reed-Francois move. In the surface going to Arizona is a big step down.
  2. If Ford and/or May are getting fired, only a couple of donor families are going to know that for sure at this point. Maybe a few select other people would know, but it would be an extremely small circle at this point. It wouldn’t include the AD. Either one family or both families will be paying the bulk of the buyout/buyouts and coughing up the money for the replacement. Just to remind everyone, the BoT (outside of one member) didn't know anything about Brad getting fired until it was posted on here. Doubt the circle will be that small when the announcement is made this time, but the circle will be really small if the decision has been made at this point.
  3. I don’t believe that Chaifetz was the main booster involved with Biondi in shanking Brad.
  4. I don’t think Brad’s termination went down in exactly the way you described. I, also, think there is a chance May’s replacement is already working in the athletic department and isn’t named Janet.
  5. I didn’t know where to put this, but I need to get this off my chest. Jon Rothstein’s X feed is a crime against humanity.
  6. I don't think it ever got brought up on here, but Bol decommitted from Florida and ended up signing with Ole Miss.
  7. I think a lot of the movement we will see this off season will be programs moving on from guys they don’t believe fit the NIL environment. I think more coaches than believed are in danger of getting fired because of that reason.
  8. Speaking of Altman, his seat is getting really warm. He might have to make the tournament to keep his job and they would probably be on the outside looking in today.
  9. It is even more than 60-70k now. Just checked IBEW Local 1's journeymen pay three years ago was over $40 dollars per hour that goes on your paycheck, plus $28 an hour in fringe benefits like healthcare and pension. You work 1,700 hours and you are looking at just under $120k in total compensation. Pretty damn good while incurring no debt and earning $30-45K a year going through the apprenticeship program.
  10. Speaking Thursday on the campus that her ancestors helped build, Proudie said her family made the decision to stand up not only for itself, “but for all the enslaved descendants of those who built this country.” Her ancestors did not help build the campus she spoke on Thursday. Construction on the “Lindell’s Grove” site didn’t begin until 1888.
  11. Not even thinking about that right now. Just want to see him get enough minutes in a game to see if he can make a run at 50.
  12. Wilt wasn’t playing for the 76ers, he was playing for the Warriors in that game. Wilt never played a regular season game in Hershey as a member of the 76ers.
  13. The saddest thing is our coach has shown such a lack of self control over the years that it can even be joked about.
  14. I don't want my only player that can score from anywhere on floor running the point and having to worry about getting other players involved in the offense. I want him looking to score every time the ball is in his hands.
  15. I don't know about Pistol Pete, but in this lost season I want to see Parker playing every minute possible. He has the ability to set scoring marks down the stretch that can provide good memories to what otherwise is an awful season. The stats for points per 100 only go back to 09-10 on sports reference. Parker is currently averaging 44.3 per 100. Only two Billikens ever averaged over 30 per 100. Perkins did it twice with a high 32.8 in the 20-21 season. Mitchell did in the 09-10 at 30.6 Parker is currently blowing those numbers away. I don't like the per 40 minute numbers as much because they don't account for tempo, but let's look at those. They go back to the 77-78 season. Parker is averaging 30.9 per 40 minutes right now. Only two Billikens have averaged 23 or more per 40. Hughes averaged 25.8 per 40 in his only season. David Burns averaged 23.9 per 40 in 80-81. Parker is not only putting up historic scoring numbers when he is on the court, but is blowing away what any previous Billiken has ever done.
  16. I hope to see that too, but people really need to understand how insanely good Parker's points per possession numbers are. Parker is scoring more points every trip he takes down the court than the top 3 scorers in the country. It is just absolutely insane when you consider he is only averaging 15.8 ppg. Limited minutes are preventing him from averaging a number that would place him among the top scorers in the country.
  17. Per 100 possessions Parker is averaging 44.3 points and 13.4 rebounds. I am going to add some context to that point per 100 number. The leading scorer in the country is Denver's Tommy Bruner. Bruener is averaging 40.9 points per 100. SIU's Xavier Johnson is averaging 40.2 per 100. Purdue's Zach Edney is averaging 43 per 100.
  18. That is not what he said, that is how the Ford apologists tried to spin it. This is exactly what he said: "I’ve never understood people hiding. If you’ve got something personal with me, I’m here at Humphrey’s every Monday."
  19. I think Pitino’s kid is an interesting option, but he is a retread.
