You forgot that our coach CANNOT COACH!!!!!! Lets hope he makes some halftime adjustments. Although I do not have much faith in that.

We need to let the public know about this website. I am thinking about a letter to sound off in the Post Dispatch. It would be great if it made Sunday's paper.

Well the board has been a tiny bit upset about brad soderberg recently. There is this one guy named Cajun that really seems to get people fired up. I find it all pretty amusing.

Welcome back FromGreece!!! Its been awhile. I also have a friend who lives close to Rice. He is from Scottland and he has a short temper and he really likes nice TVs. You would know him if you ran into him. It seems as though Houston is just like us in that everyone expected big things from them to begin the season and then they fall flat on their faces. That game does not matter much anymore for the billikens. We have no more big games until the conference tourney in atlantic city. Best of luck in Houston, tell my friend hi if you run into him.

Cajun, I am sure you and bluecrewprez or Broy, depending on how you swing, can have a nice romantic weekend in the queen city. Maybe get a hotel by the river and eat some ribs at montgomery inn. Be on the look out for metz/alaskan/gop though he has been known to stalk certain individauls on the board.

I would say the assistants are a large part of the problem too. I mean they do the majority of the recruiting. However they were Brad's hires. I think the issue comes down to $$$ for the assistants. I dont think SLU pays them as much as other programs. I heard a rumor that they were having to pay for their cell phones. That to me is unreal, every program give coaches free phones to contact recruits. That is our main connection to recruits and their families.

Just trying to imporve the program Skip. You can thank me next year with a christmas card when Brad is out and we have a new coach and our beloved Billiken basketball team is again flying high!!

Brad has not made a couple of blips. I have one question to ask all you posters. Is the program in better shape then before Brad took over? I would say NO. We have not had any NCAA tourney appearances in his tenure. One NIT in 5 years and that was with Romar's players. I think that 5 years is long enough for a coach to prove himself. A period of 5 years is not just a couple of blips. The program is worse then it was when Romar left.

I have one question: How is the future bright? Granted we do have a new on campus arena, which one would think improve our program a great deal. Besides that we only have Tommie and Kevin, and thats just for 2 more years. We have WASTED 2 recruiting classes. I dont know who you think is going to fill Ian's shoes next year.

Well at least we are mentioned with the big boys. Thats something we are not use to seeing under the current coach. I am use to seeing our name with the likes of Western Michigan, Western IL, Murray state, Oakland, etc.

Exactly Drew. Freedom of speech. Some people on this board do not think it is right to express that. Whether its a sign or a website. Some people are big supporters of billiken basketball and think that the best chance for this team to succeed is to let go of the current coach. I know people do not like to hear it, but at the same time for the long run success of the program its time to cut some of the fat. Brad has had his chance and we have nothing to show for it..NOTHING. Rumor has it that the website and the message board were the talk of the athletic department yesterday. I think they have some better things to do with their time then read these type of websites. For example looking for a new head coach of the mens basketball team!!! Someone in the AD needs to get in contact with Rick Majerus, instead of looking at billikens.com and firebradsoderberg.com!!

Its amazing GOP that an athletic department in D-1 sports is so concerned with a blog and a message board. You would think they have better stuff to do with their time then look at fan message boards and fire brad soderberg blogs. I guess that explains why we are where we are at this point in the season. Instead of Brad and his assistants making progress with recruits or game planning they are spending time on billikens.com and firebradsoderberg.com Instead of Levick and her crew raising money to help the athletic department they are to concerned with fan message boards and blogs.

Some individuals on this board just think all is great in billiken land. They will believe anything Brad or the coaches will release to the public such as, "Obi and Horace are great athletes". The only thing those too look athletic at is eating. Maybe we will see them on July 4th at the Nathan Hot dog eating contest. Lets count for Brad, that makes 2 wasted scholarships + the one hold over = 3 wasted scholarships. Unreal how a D-1 school can have 3 wasted scholarship.

I think sign guy needs to come up with some negative signs. Make it happen sign guy, your still on winter break you have some extra time to kill. I am sure GOP will come over and you guys can split a case of beer and come up with some great sign ideas.

Obi was another one of Brad's wasted scholarships. However he is in the Billiken's record book for largest rear end. They needed two chairs for him on the bench. His ass would shake so much running down the court that it would cause a mild earthquake.

GOP, I think that you should make a firebradsoderberg.com sign for the game. Get some diehard billiken fans involved in the movement. I think that a sound off letter to the post-dispatch would also be a great idea. Brad must go!!! We are worse then we were when he took over 5 years ago.

All Brad has to show for his five years as the Billiken coach are Kevin and Tommie. His only post season appearance came with Romar's recruits. He is wasting a great billiken team of Ian, Kevin and Tommie, the likes of which we have not seen since H Waldman, Claggett, and Highmark. All because he will not change his coaching style and not make adjustments. Who gets out coached by a coach from Duquesne or St. Bonaventure? You might as well have the student manager coaching. I dont understand how a D-1 basketball program can have 3 wasted scholarships. Its not like wasting scholarships is a one time thing with Brad. He had wasted scholarships last year. The past two recruiting classes have been awful, I am including this years because we have wasted the fall signing period. Before we use to say that we had a coach that could coach although he could not recruit, now we dont have a coach or a recruiter. With more time to prepare for the game on Wednesday look for a great fire Brad sign across from the billiken bench and/or in the student section. Also an advertisement for firebradsoderberg.com, Great work GOP/Alaskan/Diggerphelps/Quest. Ian should have followed his gut and gone pro!! Playing in some random Greek league pulling down 6 figures is better than playing for this coach. Rick Majerus your next Billiken Coach!!!!!

I think your "facts" are a little off. I'm guessing you saw them shake hands at the press conference to announce his intention to go pro. Behind close doors it is a different story.

Rumor has it Brad is in Orlando this week. No, the family is not touring "the magical place" (aka disney world) as a certain SLU alum named Rudy once called it. Coach is on a business trip. Yes, folks I believe he is in Orlando to re-recruit our beloved greek god. I am glad he is showing some interest in Ian because I have heard there has been little to no communication between the two since the announcement.
