  1. Older guy walking, umm, erect? Yep, that was Roy with KL. Did you two give props to BelleVegas? Mitchell can shoot it too...i saw him hit 4 consecutive 3s. Thompson was sealing the skinny Reed all over the place, but Willie finsihed some too. At 6:00 there were still plenty reds...and there are none that are "too high" in my opinion. Green is a bargain...alot of good, unobstructed views from the baseline-extended/corner.
  2. Nate/Brian the beef 'n philly is underrated (phila cream cheese) and the salami is from The Hill....the Salami/cheddar/pepperoncini/mustard is rediculous. Rediculous.
  3. Was he having family problems as he was driving?
  4. Just got back from Cici's Pizza and Coach was.... ok, i made that up. But can you imagine? I also wonder if Rickma has tried: syberg's wings lou boccardi's pizza Mom's deli
  5. Correct--us and the wise state of MN. http://www.whitecastle.com/_pages/Locate.asp
  6. Being the invaluable employee that I am, I stopped what I was doing to investigate whether there are White Castle stores in Utah. There are not. None in Milwaukee, either. Do you think he semi-discovered Whiteys recently, and now adores them? Or had some in some cities during his travels, and now loves that he lives in a city with plenty WCs? Either way, dude could throw down a Crave Case like it was going out of style.
  7. No recruit is too young. Sincerely, Karl Malone
  8. Dude, seriously, lay off Josh already. kidding folks....kidding. i am just kidding.
  9. Try to figure this out, folks: Those of us "complaining" are not doing so bc he picked Ky over SLU. We're doing so bc he used his family situation as a crutch and then did a 180.
  10. Thanks for telling me that more heinous things happen in this world. I wasn't aware. Look, the guy used the family deal to get his way. If you are cool with that then that's just dandy. Personally, I think less of him.
  11. If you insist on lying about why you can't go to school a few hours away, have the decency to not use your family as the excuse. Let's recruit a man this time.
  12. How is he going to defend going away when family reasons kept him from his commitment to WIU? not sure if this works: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=564...rrellson%2Cjosh
  13. Harrelson, Lisch, Eckerle at Syberg's on Market from roughly 11:30 to at least 12:45 when I left. None of the 3 were drinking, as it took some sweet-talking from former female bball/vball SLU athletes to get them in the door. Josh seemed very social with Paul, in particular. Why am I afraid the boys at UK had something better for him to do last weekend than to watch some broad in a Bo Hart jersey sing karaoke? In fairness, the three SLU girls were dressed to the nines and very fun to look at.
  14. He said it just wasn't a fit, and I don't want to misquote but he said something to the effect of being uncomfortable up there. I had a heard a week earlier from a reliable source that he turned down Beilein to be a Michigan asst (this past season).
  15. Coach spoke last night at a coaches clinic, and was very good as he has been when I've seen him in the past. He said: he had a 6yr-$1.7mil offer from Detroit Mercy, but he said it wasn't a good fit. Had 3 different interviews at Oregon St, and thought he was very close Also said he was close at Toledo. Said he tried for both Valley jobs, and that they hired two great coaches...said "Cuonzo is big time" He never said a word about Kramer in terms of his college choices and their potential links to Brad As most on here seem to feel, I wish Coach the best of luck in these next couple weeks.
  16. I do agree on the difference between the two. The fact that RM didn't recruit these guys carries weight in my mind. The "recruiting over" thing is strange to me. It's like, if Michael Beasley wanted to come to SLU, we'd have had to have said "sorry Beaz, we'd love to have you but it wouldn't be fair bump ole' Luke from the starting five." Head coaches don't keep their jobs because they were loyal enough to 'recruit under'. (I would say something urban like "don't hate the player, hate the game" but I don't want to prolong V-Time's self-imposed ban)
  17. I understand Nate and Bernie not going into detail about Harrelson's family matter--but how can he justify going to Lexington and not Macomb (besides the obvious!). Nate--knowing what you know, would him choosing KY come off hypocritical? I realize he has the right to...
  18. "Recruiting over" is a myth. If you disagree, you are essentially saying that D1 coaches often decide to not recruit someone who they feel would better their team. Gee, I sure hope I can root for a team who's coach "recruits under" his current talent level!
  19. C'mon Jamal! Exercise caution for once! Sincerely, Dwayne Polk
  20. He goes to South Medford, and Conklin to North Eugene. EJ is the younger brother of Duke's Kyle Singler.
  21. Even better: Why hasn't anyone left voluntarily? The seniors-to-be....the four since-exiled kids didn't leave at semester.....three assistants are back.....Alex Jensen certainly feels some loyalty/connection and he's had Coach up his a** a time or two, I'm sure. He made plenty of cash overseas but he's back in the trenches with someone he obviously values as a mentor/coach/friend. Majerus is candid. People don't like that for some reason. Why would anyone want the opposite?
  22. I've seen Cassity a few times in bigger HS games. What he does is not going to show in a sloppy all-star game. He's skilled and will make for an excellent glue guy who could play with many combos of the 4 best players otherwise. High basketball IQ. Remember how (pretty) good A. Mitchell was at the all-star game at Harris-Stowe last year???? D1 games and all-star games are not one in the same folks.
